Detroit hasn't had a true enforcer since 95 and has made the playoffs every year since. I completely agree with Holland in the article below. Obviously, I'd love to have Lucic on the team (safe to say Girardi would too) or another, bigger "deterrent" than Dorsett like a Simmonds or Neil who can skate and play the game but guys like that are few and far between.

Solid analysis regarding Dorsett. Having said that, I disagree with your comment that the blue shirts need an enforcer (outside of Dorsett) and think it's silly when you go on to say that you haven't enjoyed watching the 4th line this much since D. Moore was last on the team. Dressing a goon like John Scott, Colton Orr, among others detracts from the entire line's ability to forecheck, let alone maintain the puck and create scoring chances.

"The Rangers still need a real enforcer, but that's another conversation for a different day...not sure I've enjoyed watching a Rangers fourth line this much since the last time D. Moore was with the team."
