I agree 100%. Honesty and transparency would have been the right approach. Or even asking us to pay an extra fee for API access. But messaging it like it is the other guy's fault is downright shameless. Your head of marketing should be fired. This is completely unethical.

Maybe this is the perfect time to switch to them. After many many years with you guys, this is really an unfortunate means to part ways. What made you great was your ability to be open and integrated. Now you are closed and it gets more difficult to send my travel info to you... Make a change quickly, or my next trip will be my last with Tripit.
