i still dont understand the logic of Sather wanting D-men in return for DZ. If you're trading for DZ you are obviously looking to bolster your D corps why would you be willing to part with a top 4 or even 6 D guy for a project in DZ. You have to move him for a forward or prospects...

We asked for it and we got it, I think this guy will quickly have a lot of his deficiencies forgiven for the intangibles and snarl he brings......

@Kevin DeLury I could see both being out of the lineup soon, I think Beach was brought here for a reason. I think we'll see him soon honestly
3 months ago on Rangers Call Up J.T. Miller
@AG_Blue @msena88 i agree that there are some guys in the league who may stick it to him but the key with him, at least from what we've seen at every level he's ever been in, is that he is a more than willing participant and doesn't think twice about going after some1 if he sees something he doesnt like

@Kevin DeLury @msena88 I like most rangers fan don't see much of the wolfpack outside of highlight clips but have you heard anything about him this season in terms of his development?
The guy is in the organization and I'm sure he's not here because he's really not ready but they need Mcilrath. He is exactly what they need, I know he got smacked around in two fights recently but he's got the size and can legit throw with anyone in this league.
With that said, it's not worth rushing him but boy could they use him.
@Kevin DeLury @msena88 completely agree

How does Pouliot continue to avoid the axe? I agree that Miller certainly has a lot to learn in his game but he brings a whole lot more to the table at the NHL level than Pouliot.
I don't know enough about the cap ramifications and contracts in regards to sending Pouliot down though which i'm guessing why he's not the one.
I agree completely but as someone who has seats in the 100s (not actually by choice I'd prefer to be higher up but this was all I can get right now and am lucky I can afford it) I often get labeled as a suit because I come to games straight from work in dress clothes. I will admit I am often one of the few rowdy ones in my section but there are def some diehards in suits down there.
With that said, the vast majority of real fans are in the upper sections and most people in my section don't know wtf is going on in the game or aren't in their seats and it all drives me insane. Like many others have said, like most other sports in this town those seats are filled with people who are there to "be seen" so to speak.
But I just wanted to say, there are some of us down there that bleed blue.

@FREE MASHINTER @msena88 unfortunately I couldn't agree more but a man can dream. You know as well as I do, consistently finishing middle of the pack won't be able to yield any star players through the draft without some luck. You're right though, Dolan refuses to let the team fall to the bottom of the league and so we're consistenly stuck in the middle of the pack. Gota build through the draft and you need top picks

These are the exact types of moves that only perpetuate the cycle, the rangers need to think about being potential sellers and not buyers for once. Its too early but there's a chance this may need to be blown up and start a full blown rebuild.
