I'm not a Kings fan. Like about half of the people who follow the Kings these days, I'm a Jimmer fan. Now, I could easily become a Kings fan if watching the Kings meant watching Jimmer play. But so far it's been two years of watching a promising athlete (and all-around great guy) get jerked around by a clueless coach and selfish teammates.

Speaking of Piano Man lyrics...
"Well Jimmer on the bench, is a friend of mine,
I enjoy watching him play on TV,
And he's quick with a dish, or a long-distance swish,
But there's someplace that he'd rather be...
He says 'Riding the pine has been killing me,'
As the smile runs away from his face,
'Well I'm sure that I could be a superstar,
If I could get out of this place!'
@Kingtut1 I can't wait for the day Jimmer lights up the Kings while playing for another team. I'm not blind to Jimmer's deficiencies as a player, but with a coach who believes in him and on a team that plays AS A TEAM, he could grow into a solid and valuable role player with a long and successful career. But the Kings just see him as a marketing tool.
Seems to me the Kings organization has been holding onto Jimmer simply to sell tickets and #7 jerseys, with no intention of letting him play or helping him reach his potential as a player. I only watch the Kings for Jimmer, and can't wait until he escapes to a legitimate team that will at the very least give him a shot.
