We were in a worse situation a few years ago. We were losing to bad teams and we couldn't beat any good teams. It wasn't till after the all-star game and into march where we turned it around and all the good teams could not beat us. This was the year the spurs barely made the 7th seed. Our bad misfortune was that Manu broke his arm in the last game of season and we went in hobbled against the grizzlies. But this year reminds me of that. I won't panick until march comes and we still can't beat the +500 teams

Well looking at the stats he got very little min vs the Lakers in games 1 and 2 but in game 3 he got 14min 13pts and 7rebounds and in game 4 he got 19min 13pts and 5 rebounds. And in round 2diaw comes back and we don't see Blair until garbage time. I mean it's true those are not beast numbers but at the same time I don't even remember diaw or splitter scoring 13pts all post season. I could be wrong but the 2 back to back games Blair got minutes vs LA he put up doubleI digit numbers so i would at least say it was at least worth a shot to see how he faired in round2. We can't say that Blair gave up on the spurs cause that's not the case. The spurs gave up on him for more size. At least he didn't pull an Odom on us Blair's effort was actually there and he did work hard to try and get minutes. Pop just wasn't having it.

Well none of us will ever know if he would have made a difference but what we do know is Blair put up great effort against the Lakers in the 1st round while diaw was out from surgery. I think he should have earned some minutes at that point. Pop depended heavily on Manu and he wasn't producing. Pop should have seen that Manu was struggling by the 3rd round and given some minutes to mcgrady. After all he was the insurance policy had Manu got hurt. So he might as well have gotten hurt. So pop could have given Blair a chance but pop over coached this past post season. So I think Blair has a legitimate reason to be upset. He should have at least gotten some minutes until he proved he wasn't being effective. I mean going up against Howard and gasol in round 1wasnt proof enough then I'm sorry. I will miss Blair because he did love san antonio. But san Antonio will still smash dallas
