Baseball is living in the past. Sure fan attendance is alright, but when you get get tickets on stubhub for peanuts on the day of the game its always going to be fine. Heck, the NHL has great attendance. TV ratings is what matters now, and nevermind the NFL, Baseball isn't even in the same echelon as the NBA or big time College Football when it comes to eyeballs on the screens. 162 games is a joke. People don't have the time now to sit through every game. Evolve or die, Baseball isn't evolving. Its stuck in the past. The newspaper industry of professional sports.
