I think Jose Canseco is playing a Softball Tournament somewhere - has to be. So hit the ground and net all you wannabe journalists we need to know this stuff because in a month it will be too busy.
Seriously - I love all Christmas has to offer.
What I will not miss is all the grovelling charities do during the 'season'.
I believe in compassionate giving but if you have to make December your 'gift month' you are deceived.
How about a year where one of these 'Charities' says "we have so much we want to give and not receive this month (December)".

I am thinking the new Republic here in Beantown baseball is going to be interesting yet some how 'tamer' than the Horse that ran off the track in September.

Then of course we have had the likes of Jose Offerman (bat attacker) and Ugeth 'Uggie' Urbina who ran afoul of the law south of the border. I believe we'll not see the likes of them in Red Sox ranks during the Cherington Marionette Era.
Yes, these are interesting - yet disturbing - stories. I hope we have the kind of drama that stems from a team that is united, focused and known for 'pulling out a few tight ones'.
I really have seen my share of 'benches clearing brawls'. Though interesting it can cause a season ending injury to a multi million dollar player. The game just ain't what it used to be.

I do not know more than a handful of people in this state making a six figure income. To think of someone getting a six figure return just makes the nerve receptors in my cerebellum scream.
I assume the Steinbrenner's file quarterly taxes - so how could they have been this far off? I'm sure it was a clerical error on the Steinbrenner's part.
Ya - right, I am a conservative but this is just why conservatives make the news. Why is it that people making great money cannot stop until they have picked up every penny (even if it is not theirs to pick up)?
So my only question is this - does this have one whit to do with Boston baseball other than one more slash at the Yankees Jugular?
