From Chicago. Moved to PDX area at the end of 05...just in time to pay too much for my house in Sherwood. Started following the NBA/Blazers in 08 and bought season tickets starting in 09. Never really followed the NBA except to watch MJ in the playoffs while in Chicago, so didn't know the rules or much of anything about NBA basketball till started following the Blazers closely. Enjoy going to the games. It's an escape from the "real world"!! It is fun to watch athletes play in the winter months..uplifting till last year..we all know that story. LOUSY PG. Work in a CVICU(Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) as an RN. Am going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner.
@brandonmitchell any chance for a video?!! Can you use the music you used for your Andre Miller video? I loved that music...

@MattBRC kick him out. If he's not paying rent and he's using utilities he is COSTING you more money. Unless of course you enjoy being a victim. In that case, continue to let him take advantage of you. You teach people how to treat you!!!
Interesting article.
What I noticed with the eye test was the varying speeds seen in Lillard's game. I didn't see that with Bayless. He was a bull in a china shop...who would ALWAYS go..can't remember..but one direction. And wasn't good at finishing at the rim once scouted. He didn't protect the ball going up for the layup/dunk. Lillard does seem to do this.

Timbo, you do such a beautiful job! It's been about a week since your post and the Blazers did sign Hickson and Freeland. So that's good. I think they somehow kept Hickson's bird rights.
His one year contract was smart..see how he does when the team is actually trying to win. Sacramento may have been a fluke..I hope so.
Saw the first SL game and know the SL games mean nothing right? I did see a few things that I like about Leonard. 1. He has a normal/good running gait. 2. He has a normal build. He has calves that don't look like the belong to a Biafran. And nice broad shoulders. 3. He can do cartwheels. 4. He can make free throws. Has nice form on the free throws and made them in "clutch" (as clutch as SL gets) situation. 5. He can dunk, block and pass out of the post...in SL.
He went to U of I and is Caucasian..so no minority status. U of I is not known for admitting dim bulbs..even athletic dim bulbs. So..he can probably learn if well coached.
I didn't bring up the Caucasian factoid on BE as I figured I'd get a WARNING for inciting controversy!!!

@ian21 better than stirring the pot stories...remember the one about Roy not standing with his teammates during the Star Spangled Banner article?? That one really pissed me off. He does have some good ones lately.
@Snug_Lee Lin isn't going to the Raptors. He is going to talk to Houston. Landry Fields is going to the Raptors. Calderone is going to be amnestied I bet. Or maybe the Nets guy wants his contract...
@TiMB @Snug_Lee How about Ersan Ilyasova? Nets are looking at him. Maybe he should be the Blazer back up plan. Seems to me the Blazers are taking this all rather lightly..they must know something we do not...insert smiley face here. And why are Billups and Hawes out of consideration for the Blazers right now??

@southern oregon did you read Felton to Nicks? I thought they were still trying to get Nash! Though the Fields thing kind of messed with their $ situation I think.

@ian21 @dj idoltime @TiMB I think it is pretty important to the players as well! Esp players who have been TRYING to win the championship for years and finally do. Eddy Curry for instance.
