Wow, I am shocked USC is the one whining about this. UT&UF had to face the best of the west, but I guess USC missed out on winning the east.

This is the SEC not the Big 12. One team's TV ratings should not effect scheduling.
John at MrSEC I agree...I would never call UT your team. I have left a few posts saying you spun your stories against the Vols.
TV can explain UK not having the brutal thursday night -travel- saturday turnaround, but how do they end up getting the advantage of facing teams that had to do the turnaround on four Saturdays. That is almost every Saturday in the SEC season.
I wouldn't call it "checkmate", because CSS is an upgrade over CLT and the game is never over. More like trading a bishop(CLT) for a rook(CSS)

John Braggoreo Chavis doesn't want to be a head coach. I think he is happy at LSU where he doesn't have to recruit.
Did you watch the presser? Dooley did a bit more than suggest Arnett was free to go. He went to pains to tell the whole story.
CDD made the right choice and for the right reasons. It wasn't a PR move. After finally sitting down with Arnett CDD listened to the kid's problem and let him go.
I hope this will be a lessen for Arnett. When he reaches the NFL, I whould hope he would not do another end around to the press. He should go to the coach first.
