you have a freaking horrible controller like the GameCube's which renders most games unplayable due to its insanely bad button proportion and awkward placement as "best" but you have the PS3's controller, one of the best controllers ever created, loved by professional fighting game players for its well placed and responsive D-Pad (which you call horrible, what a joke!) as the worst? The analog sticks prevent you from pressing the select and start buttons? Whhaaatt? Diamon shaped button? Whhaatt? Loose sticks...
Go to Shoryuken.com and say in the forums that the DualShock has the worst D-Pad because it's segmented. LoooL they are gonna eat you alive because this is in fact why it is the best. Go to an event of the fighting game community and ask there which is the best D-Pad ever. The answer will be, DualShock. ;)
Segmented D-pad causes less injury because there is less friction, and because it is segmented it is more precise to. And this is not an opinion, this is a fact. One piece D-pad are the worsts kind of D-Pad.
FFX HD and KH 1.5 are not REMAKES! When are you people going to learn the meaning of the word remake and use it well in context? They are remasters! Remakes is to make something from the ground up with new engine and stuff all over again. A resolution incremental and some new little detail here and there are REMASTERS. It's the same game, it looks the same, it plays exactly the same? That's a remaster.

more money for the developers mean more money in the publisher's pocket so don't be naive. PC games are cheap due to piracy and it works well there because of the unified environment of digital games and full backward compatibility with old and new tittles alike. PC gaming is like 1 single entity while every console generation is its own particular entity and this complicates things beyond belief. If they attach the game to a console then what will happen when it breaks? If they attach it to an account what will happen if the PS5 does not play PS4 games or when Sony shuts down the servers?
Even if they block used games you can be sure that prices will stay the same on consoles and who's to say that the sales wouldn't actually decrease? On top of this... They'd be killing gaming culture and its history since lots of games will be lost through time.
Blocking used games on consoles is a mistake. And the worst of all is the gamers that dare to defend it. It's like they are asking for their rights to be taken away at the same time they kill gaming. Gamers really are delusional.
DD will only give more control to publishers over the games we buy and that's exactly what I don't want. Companies only care about money and as soon as they find new ways to milk us then they will do it. I mean, do you really think that DD will make games to be cheaper? Don't be so naive.
better graphics, better AI, better physics, bigger worlds, more destructible environments, more action on screen... These are just some of the new stuff that new hardware will bring along with it. Then we have better online features, more APPs, faster UIs; easier architecture for developers to work with so small developers will be able to make more with less and Triple A projects will not face the issues The Last Guardian had on the PS3.
There are lots of things to be excited about for next-gen. New interfaces, weird controllers, more methods to deliver content....
No they aren't because the point of a reboot is not kill a franchise with potential to use its name on a completely new game like Capcom did with DmC. Just kill the franchise and start a new one you lazy ass coward. They just wanted to cash-in on the name to draw-in old fans while trying to attract a new audience with the completely new style.
So sorry but if I don't give a crap about DmC reboot and I didn't buy it because they butchered the franchise with the scrubby ass combat and more serious, angsty, prententious story-line. They ruined all the stuff that made me like the franchise.
Star Ocean 3 was no hidden gem... That game scored and sold relatively well, that's why it got a sequel on PS3 and Xbox.
dude, Twins Snake is the worst way to start with the MGS franchise. That remake is just a bastardization of the franchise that tried too many things that don't belong... Bullet-time on a MGS game? GTFO!

the HD sprites of SFII are virtually the same as the originals. If Ken looks like the hunchback with the new art then look at the original sprite, he looks the same! 0_O
Sony should stop producing Vita and wasting money developing games for it because nobody wants them and this is only going to create another hole in their pockets beside the one they already have from the TV division. Nintendo has the handheld market completely monopolized by having Pokemon (the only handheld franchise Americans care about), Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest exclusive to their system and there's nothing Sony can do about it. I feel bad for them because it's obvious they did all they could to make a really terrific handheld system (and they actually did) but without an audience most 3rd party's will not jump in. And with no games....
There is no way to turn this sinking ship. I've been a Sony fanboy since the PS1 but he truth is the truth. There is no future for Sony in the mobile gaming beside that "Playstation Suite" thing that will bring PS franchises to cellphones and stuff. Now that could make them some money but the Vita will only make their financial situation become worse.

I've been an anime fan since I was a kid watching stuff like Ranma 1/2, Tekkaman Blade and Saint Seiya in the weekend mornings and now I can't stand anime anymore.
Beside One Piece and a couple of mangas like Mightiest Disciple Kenichi and Reborn I don't watch nor read that much anime anymore, the industry went down the crapper when the moe obsession took off. Now everything is moe combined with ecchi and I'm not a horny teenager anymore to develop any interest on these kind of shallow shows. =/
I really miss stuff like: Evangelion, Hellsing, Black Lagoon, Darker than Black, Berserk, Rahxephon, Zeta Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, etc. This is why I used to love anime! ;_;
But now I found a new home with the interactive comics of DC and Marvel (because the cartoons are crap). =)
@chill_eye_am Bayonetta sold more than 2 millions man. On the PS3 alone sold more than 1 million!
@MasonicGamer Dev Kits are based on beefed up components from the console itself with various custom software tools while a PC is a PC. It's true that all games start on a PC but they aren't built on a PC because then the code wouldn't compile because they have totally different architectures. And the thing is that this game's probably a multiplat so seeing it running from a PC wouldn't such a hard thing to believe.
And Sony will not show PS4 this year, that would only slow down the PS3 sales this Christmas and people would lose interest in the Last of Us, God War, etc.
the only reason I care about this game is because of Inafune. I want to see what he can do when he has no leash on him but, I'm not buying a Vita any time soon. =/
