@GianBattista Of course James is really funny with his AVGN reviews, but the fact of the matter is that he is working on his full length AVGN movie so he doesn't have the time to work on individual AVGN episodes.
Plus, I don't think Mike was trying to pull an AVGN or AVGM at all. Just a normal review. I wouldn't even compare the two because it's so different. He's just putting his own perspective on some games and filling the site with more content nicely.
Mike isn't even playing a character like James' AVGN. Mike is just being himself.
@StéphaneMlcn Yeah. I agree. He's being very Offensive.
@DerekShort I'm rooting for James to make a great movie too. I have faith that this will be a great film. He is not only popular on the web, but I think this film could take him higher. Seeing not just AVGN, but also his other films he's done, he has the potential to be a professional movie producer and can do so not long from now.
P.S: I agree with you on Manning and the Broncos. My family is all 49er fans. I'm a Raiders fan, and now I worry my team is completely is screwed because of Manning and the Broncos.
I'm surprised I never noticed these things when I watched the movie in theaters. I guess I just liked the movie too much to notice. Maybe it also had to do with the fact that I wasn't into film as much then as I am now because nowadays, I notice those things way more.
I'm glad you mentioned World of Illusion here. Sadly, it's the only game you mentioned in this video that I played. I haven't played too many Disney games, but when it came to the ones I played back in the 16 bit era, I played Mickey Mouse games.
Castle of Illusion for Genesis, Mickey Mania for SNES. And I also played World of Illusion for Genesis as well. I really liked that game because you can choose to be Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck and doing so, some of the levels are different.
This was quite a joy to read. It's kind of hard to come up with a list with how many good videos there are so I imagine it took some time and thought for you to make this. I have a list of my own, but I am not completely certain on it either.
My top 15 probably are:
1) Superman 64
2) Power Glove
3) Plumbers Don't Wear Ties
4) NES Accessories
5) Silver Surfer
6) Batman
7) Atari Jaguar
8)Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hide Re-revisited
9) Dick Tracy
10) Back to the Future Re-revisited
11) Ghost Busters
12) Bible Games
13) Nightmare on Elm Street
14) Phillips CD-i, especially the Zelda games
15) Star Wars
This reminds me. I ought to see the TMNT movie that came out a few years ago. James did a review of that in the Movie Reviews section. I remember I was completely interested in the movie, but I guess it wasn't enough to go to the theater.
As for the new movie coming out. I'll probably skip out on it just because I don't like this Turtles from space idea, unless somehow it's a good movie, but I definitely have my doubts about that.
@Calavera You are incredibly arrogant. It takes time to make an episode of AVGN. The amount of time it would take to make a video like this one here isn't long at all. I do video production of my own and I already know from experience.
It's obvious that this video didn't take as much effort to make therefore it didn't take as much time to make so he did have the time for this, but videos like AVGN episodes take far longer to make and if he was to make one, it would totally sidetrack him from making the AVGN movie.
Besides, you are automatically assuming that this video was completely his doing. I am certain that one of the other cast members was probably behind editing this video, but even so, a video like this can be shot and edited in one night where as an AVGN episode would take much more time.
Have you ever considered how much work goes into each episode? I can already tell you have absolutely no knowledge in video editing at all by your response.
Try to think before you speak. I can tell you put a lot of thought into your angry response, so next time, use some more thought into what is going on and why things are the way they are or how much time would be put into this or that before making your response. You purely thought out of anger or impatience and didn't use any logic.
That was pretty good. From my experience(although it's a lack of experience), it's always nice to sometimes take a break from being the director or the heart and soul of the whole video and just be a cast member.
That was outstanding. Wow! I didn't realize how hard filming was in just the 90's. That's not very long ago at all.
I only got into film just 3 years ago.
Wow! The VHS got really really messed up.
Since I sadly never seen any Rocky movies yet, I actually thought this was from Rocky, but then I was like no, he wouldn't just punch somebody for no reason.
Wow! Gannondorf is an asshole! And what was Shit Pickle doing towards the end?
Wow! now that was crazy! Really dumb and funny! I'll be checking out more films. So much content on here.
That is one crazy movie!
I wonder. Can these glitches be performed on the Super Mario All-Stars version of the game?
jemis Get an ad blocker and the ads are gone. I seriously don't have any idea what ads even appear on these videos.
All of those are pretty interesting glitches. Hm. This makes me wonder if I have never discovered a glitch in a Kirby game before.
I don't remember performing any. With that being said, thanks for showing these glitches. Glitches are fun to see and especially fun to perform.
Nice! I am certainly looking forward to the movie. I hope it will be at least in independent theaters as there is one in my home town.
It's nice to see someone get big in this industry. I want to make movies myself. I just got a few short films, that have hardly any popularity, but I guess it's a step.

LMAO! That part where Mike is saying to throw the movie away without moving his lips is just classic!
