Sorry about my comments. I'm just really mad at this fact. There hasn't been any good news this whole season.

8 hours, 45 minutes ago on Kevin Durant done for the remainder of this season

The amount of pressure Durant had to put on his body (39+ minutes a game for 4,5 seasons), the style of their offense of mainly using him and Westbrook. I can see how his body would start failing him. This offense is causing so many injuries. I blame Brooks for this. #seewhatIdidthere

@okcjim @thelaughingwiseman No, I can see him staying out of the season. I'm perfectly fine with that. It's just the healing process. 4-6 months of not doing shit? That's ridiculous that reeks of the front office wanting to be as cautious as hell.

All because of a fractured foot... There has to be a way he can heal up quicker than that. This is just stupid. 4-6 months of not being able to walk?

@Greeed @thelaughingwiseman If he is back at minimal capacity like the SAS series, I'd rather he rest up.

My projected starting 5 for the Warriors series (if we do play against them): Adams, Kanter, Roberson, Waiters, Westbrook. Morrow will be the first one off the bench. I don't see KD or Ibaka getting healthy in time.

@DanielLawler After the all-star game is when he started playing more towards the post, but that was for about 5 games, then he went back to his actual game of setting up for mid range jumpers, and not that many 3 pointers. With the rise of Morrow's 3pt shooting, I hope Ibaka goes more inward in his play and try to be more inclined to go to the paint rather than space out more and shoot 3's. He's great when he shoots mid range jumpers or is trying to make his way to the post.

I I also think Roberson would be vital to the Thunder's series. He could play the 4 if the Warriors decide to go small, and Brooks decides to match. I'd also like to see him by the primary guard on Curry

In a series against the Warriors, I think it's a matter of adjustment. Ibaka was more of a perimeter defender, always on the weak side and trying to guard stretch 4's. His style of play wasn't really suitable. Kanter and Adams are more oriented to the post. Thunder should force them into a jump shooting team. Thunder have the big's to deter the Warriors, and really Kanter is going to be guarding Bogut or Lee (not really offensive post juggernauts like LAC, MEM have) or an undersized Green. Why not prioritize defense in the middle?

Adams, Kanter, and McGary are making the most out of their opportunity. I sure hope Perkins retires and becomes an assistant coach to the Thunder, so he can still teach them about defensive positioning and defensive tactics. Perkins wasn't the fastest but he was really f***ing smart. Can you Imagine disciples (like Adams, Kanter, McGary) who are both fast and athletic, learning from him?

@DanielLawler Or the fact that Russ has offensive post players made him a more complete player? I didn't notice his triple double count until after Kanter got here. So, who made whom better? I would like to think they both made each other better.

@Chandler Bing #TearsOfJoy @thelaughingwiseman A serious question. Kanter and Adams actually battle for boards. Kanter settles way less for jumpers on offense. I can see Ibaka starting over Kanter, but you can't deny the chemistry Kanter has with Adams. They work well together. What would it take for you to consider having Kanter and Adams starting over Ibaka?
