While I appreciate your wanting to know our response, I''m curious about what your 'knee jerk' response was RG. As the prosperity guru who has mastered manifesting and understands what's needed in the future, how did you respond?
Randy...I completely understand this next level of your journey. I am deeply grateful for all your insights and lessons as we all are..You clearly get that you are a spiritual being in a physical body, so you are following the guidance you've received..I wish you all the best on your journey and look forward to learning about your evolution too...Shanti
It's interesting you posted this today, as I was sleepless for awhile last night after having screened "Lincoln", Spielberg's Oscar nominated film. It was a harsh reminder of the closed minds and 'structure' that many of these limiting beliefs and memes came from.. And it scared the heck out of me! Fortunately, today the world embraces innovation and vision unlike those days!.. So yes, I agree wholeheartedly Randy.. Let's get a BOOM for Randy!!
Rattle 'dem cages.. know what I'm sayin'?? Right ON Brother Gage!!
It's good to see that someone of your level of success also understands the true definition of Integrity, which I assumed you did. Most people don't realize that integrity is not something you learn, but rather is integral to Who You Are.. It means not only keeping agreements with others, but with YOURSELF as well. People that lack basic integrity are NOT people I want to collaborate with or even be friends with. This can make friendships challenging but in the end, I believe its best to surround ourselves with people who play on the same field as we do..
OK Randy.. this is TRULY a profound post.. In fact it's ONE of the MOST profound of all...So before I forget.. Thank you.
Using the young child as the metaphor is perfect. When I hear people use the word 'should' it always kicks in my knee jerk response "Excuse me, but did someone hand you a rule book when you were born?".. I sure didn't get one, so questioning the 'rules' is always what I'm about.. Where there are 'should's' there is lack thinking.
Letting go is the Path... And it's my intention to release old programming more and more each day.. I'm deeply grateful for you sharing this today.
This is SO true.. and I love that you posted this.. It goes along with the other statements you've made for a long time now.. We are ALL unique and therefore there IS NO comparing to do!..
I must side with Randy on this.. And to expand on it, there are many 'cultural' elements that play into the beliefs forced down the throats of those who are imbued with the beliefs of organized religion. By this I refer to behaviors people of various religious beliefs adopt, i.e. "Never pay retail" (Jewish), etc. These beliefs do NOT serve a prosperity mindset and cause far more damage. There's also very strong judgement that goes along with these beliefs.
I have witnessed so many people who literally 'can't see the forest 'fore the trees' due such deep programming. I call these 'the should rules', i.e. you should do this, that or the other thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recollect getting a 'rule book 'when I was born. The rule books may be religious texts, or other such things. "God fearing" is an oxymoron to me.. Why FEAR God if he's Love?.. Doesn't make sense. In the end, CHANGE is what's most important. "I'm looking at the Man in the Mirror".. MJ said it best.. Peace to all..
I for one, LOVE when you get on your 'virtual soap box' Randy.. It serves a higher purpose.. at least for me! I have maintained the same beliefs in these areas as you for years now..Organized religion, in MY eyes, is THE guiltiest of all for memes that have caused most of us to believe in OURSELVES.. Even the expression, "God fearing" is one I NEVER understood.. And being in FL, a Bible belt state, I'm sure you're exposed to this all the time. But the MOST important thing here is as you say, BELIEF IN OURSELVES and what's possible.. James Allen's book is more a 'bible' to me than any spiritual text.. But books are tools; our minds, thoughts and beliefs are what shape our lives.
Entertainment with Purpose.. Inspiring people to rethink.. let go.. and most of all, live a life without regrets.. Sound like solving a problem to you?
Yes.. Yes.. Yes.. Living IN the possibility through CHOICE.. "We do not attract that which we want, but that which we ARE".. Thanks so much Randy.. great post!
No.. don't tell me.. Nah... I don't think you have the cojones... Well maybe.. On the other hand, it's totally possible for you dude.. Yes.. you KNOW what I'm talkin' about.. You're going to enter a Ballroom Dancing contest on TV.. I knew it! LOL
These are very interesting and am sure there are others.. When it comes to physical abuse, I'm willing to bet there are many here who's parents without knowing, physically abused a child when they disobeyed, due to their OWN dysfunctional child rearing.. This is a widespread problem especially with the Boomer generation and inflicts serious self esteem problems which of course, impacts prosperity consciousness. And I don't think the excuse a parent might make, "well you were beaten because I was beaten as a child" holds water. However, we MUST forgive them and ourselves and continue our critical thinking.. Thanks for posting Randy.. As always a great reminder and motivator..
Funny.. I didn't know the Pope smoked dope.. I guess he's Dope Pope then eh? LOL.. Honestly, they're equal.. Both are people that have rules about how we 'should' live and I don't believe in rules.. End of story
What's interesting is I happened to watch "Da Vinci Code" again and these posts came to mind in the midst of it. For someone who's yet to experience travel to Rome, I had no idea the extent of the Vatican not to mention the width and breadth of the campus. And that all points to the fact that this is a business focused on expansion through leveraging the memes you mention here.. And as you also say it's not religion alone. For me, ANY entity that claims there are rules we 'should' or ''must' follow is not one I will buy into. Last time I checked, when a being is born into this world, nobody hands them a 'rule book'. That happens when they're exposed to the memes their parents have adopted and then expanded as they're told they 'must' attend church, synagogue, etc. And of course the public education systems are also good at brainwashing too.. Don't get me started about education! Anyway, I'm grateful for these posts Randy..As one who doesn't believe in RULES, this is a breath of fresh air!
Wow Randy.. so great!! I agree on all fronts though I wouldn't call my self a fundamentalist agnostic.. I tried ordering a dish of that at the local restaurant and they were all out! LOL. (Loved the comment about Jonah getting a time share in Key West too) In the end, believing in ourselves and what's possible in life is what matters most. I rejected the doctrines of Judaism and all the guilt, 'rules' etc. that go along with it. To me any belief that says there are RULES in life is NOT a belief I will follow. On the other hand, I'm more inclined to side with James Allen. What we think, believe and feel is what manifests in our outer world. End of story.
Great post and one that shows the depth of your knowledge too.. Love it!
One of the biggest contradictions I notice has to do with people seeking to grow, yet are so locked in old habits of reading newspapers, watching the news, advertising, etc. which as we know are THE primary sources for the mind viruses. It's like the old joke, "Doctor, doctor it hurts when I do this.. What should I do?"..Answer: "Don't do it!!".. While funny it's also sad. I REFUSE to expose myself to the media and yes, I may be missing out on important achievements and other relevant things, but in the end, I am not exposing my mind to all the negative programming which is unproductive.. "and that's all I'm going to say about that.." ~ Forrest Gump
This is great food for thought.. Sometimes I have the feeling you describe knowing that I have more.. much more.. Reminds me of a great line from "Batman Begins" where Christian Bale after doing some extracurricular activities with a couple of super models says to Rachel.."This isn't me.. I'm more.. MUCH more".. When we have the KNOWING we are more it MUST drive us to uncover it and then share it with the world.. That's God's gift of giving THROUGH us!
So when you eliminate those in your life that can't understand or relate to your quest to live your dream, often it doesn't leave many at all.. Such is the case in my Life, though as you say, it's best to surround yourself with those that challenge and support your vision rather than those who prefer mediocrity. Sometimes I feel a bit isolated, but remind myself that having friends who prefer mediocrity isn't in my best interests..
