why can't we play Detroit every day? Westbrook, Harden, and Durant have been great!

@courtsense you stop that.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU HATERS WANTED TO TRADE WESTBROOK!?!?!REEEMEMMMMMMMMBERRRRRRRR?!
who else is stoked that reggie jackson's playing more now?
don't get me wrong: totally bummed about Maynor, absolutely sad. it's a pretty substantial loss.
that being said, I think Reggie's more explosive and find his game more fun to watch (he's still a bit of an unknown quantity out there).

this is just setting russell up for the ultimate redeeming game-winning alley oop throwdown, don't worry guys.
@ILikePancakes mad = probably on the trading block
Russell is hitting huge shots in the last 2 minutes? when'd he become clutch?! ZERO TO HERO!
SCRUTINIZE EVERY WESTBROOK MOVE: starting.. now!
RW just looks off his game out there.. C'mon!
@shiki TRADE HIM, right?!

@BradTGR Wow, I totally agree. One hundred percent. If it's this easy to miscommunicate online, think about how tough communication is during, oh, say an NBA game! Let's put this behind us and blow by Dallas tonight.
@BradTGR If you haven't seen anything, you must not be watching. Putback dunks, insane offensive rebounds, jumpers that juuuust roll off the iron and are fodder for Ibaka and Perk? I do not understand how you can question his consistent effectiveness over the course of a season.
Skip Bayless is kind of a tool. I'd rather have my team scrutinized by Rick Perry: "That Durant, he's the man! No homo. Westbrook should stick to penetrating and just let Durant handle the ballwork. No homo, of course."

@zsspanther Exactly! With all eyes on him, I bet he comes out of the gate firing on all cylinders. That's what we love about him: he's a competitor.
@OkcBaby He's got Korver, Deng, Boozer, et al. I get your point though: Rose is the #1 option in Chicago; the same can and should not be said of RW in OKC.
@BradTGR Is that our honest to God best option though? As an undersized 2, he wouldn't have the ball in his hands - supposedly when he's at his best - so I'm kind of lost. I know he's not a knock-down shooter, but haven't you seen those games where he is just LOCKED IN? I'll never forget him drilling those 3s in Los Angeles in the face of Kobe. Russell maybe can't "shoot" in the traditional (read: reliable) Durant sense, but he most definitely can put the ball in the hole.
@BradTGR Last season, RW shot .330 from beyond the arc; Derrick Rose shot .332, and I doubt anyone'd vilify him for a few attempts on a bad night. Just saying!
@GAP Agreed, he shouldn't have disrespected like that. The Thunder seem to thrive on their unique situation: young team, close bonds, unified vision. This throws a itty bitty wrench in that, but would you have had Brooks bench Russell the remainder of the game and turn this into an even bigger storyline?
What a classic, manufactured, over-hyped storyline! Shades of "He's shooting more than Durant!" all over again. This year, Durant's looking razor sharp, and he should get each and every touch he wants; there's no wiggle room there. That being said, Russell didn't burst onto the scene, snag an All-Star game nod, and dominant the PG position with his characteristic temerity and deference.
This guy WANTS TO WIN! He wants to win so badly that he's chewing out a teammate for passing on an open look on one play in the third game of the season. I bet Russ would say his emotions got the best of him, and I doubt he'd play this hand again if he could change the cards, but I'm never faulting this guy (remember, he's just 23!) for his competitive desire.
