I agree with a previous post. I trust that durant had enough of a reason to get into it with a teammate like that. I bet it wasn't because Russ cursed at Thabo. I'm sure we will never hear exactly what the exchange was. Point is you don't see any other player on this team acting like that. And definently not to durant.
thunder_mike happen during tv timeout. Darnell sits very close to the court. I honestly do not think he is part of some conspiracy to make this worse then it Is.
Ok take it from playoffs last year. Who would have hurt worse to loose harden or Westbrook ? To me there are so many signs that something may be up. Look who we took in the draft an athletic defensive pointguard sounds familiar. Look at the times Westbrook lost his cool he got benched in the playoffs and it was really the only reason we won that game. what about the fact presti has not extended him. If he was convinced that Westbrook is going to be in the core it would be a done deal. There are a lot of things that make you wonder. But my whole point is no matter how you look at this thing it's not a good positive thing.
With the new CBA we more then likely either get rid of harden or Westbrook. We can't keep both. So who are we going to keep? Going from the game yesterday we wouldn't have won without harden. Without westbrook we would have been several turnovers better.
My point is that this thing is not positive. No we do not want Westbrook yelling at players and getting into it with the whole team on the sideline.
As fans it's hard not to try and spin this thing positive. From my view there is not one thing positive about this. Considering durant who is as laid back as you can get had to have teammates get between him. And Darnell saying it was almost a brawl and fans were standing up to watch. How is this something we can ignore and make excuses for ? It's not good and needs to be addressed. I can say I have never seen an opposing team come to okc and get in a skirmish on the sideline.
