@b1walker @L0rv @Lost Ones(#blackpride) "Chance favors the prepared mind."  Presti was lucky to get Durant in his first trip into the lottery, no question, but Westbrook and Harden were controversial picks.  Serge was considered a reach.  Hinkie has done well to obtain value for his picks, but he is waiting for a "once in a generation" player to build around.  If he landed Anthony Davis in his first trip to the lottery he might have been able to mimic Presti's success.

Say you were going to distill down the sg/sf core (Lamb, Morrow, PJ3, Roberson, Singler, Waiters, rights to Abrines and Heustis), what one guy would you keep and who would you trade all the rest for?

@FinchReese @_justin at some point your have to trust your own culture to influence things.  Monta Ellis was a statistical bane, but the Mavs (an analytics heavy team) gave him a contract anyways and he has never been the same.  Similarly, the stats would suggest Kanter shouldn't be as good on offense and should be worse on defense.  Time will tell if Dion can fit.

@Kong Lambchop @El Prez thats the reason for the re-evaluation, some tiny fractures might not have been visible initially, but they would become visible when the bones started to remodel. So, not at this point.

@FinchReese @El Prez @Mother Teresa I would agree with both of those.  Usually you don't go the mouth route because their are a nexus of nerves and glands you have to be very careful to avoid.  You can accidentally give someone "crocodile tears" they start crying whenever they're hungry, etc.  Simple procedure, Russ' cyborg circuits do most of the actual healing.

@kfmsooner I agree with the draft change, but the average career of an nba player is shorter than a baseball player.  I'd prefer to see a greater integration with the d-league:

11. What’s the most powerful force in sports? It’s not coaching, analytics, adrenaline, fans, fame or money. Said Battier: “Peer pressure.”

I think those extensive  "royal jelly" discussions really came down to direct and indirect peer pressure.

@harmlesslyfatal [[#RW0 4 MVP]] @Di_charden @ThunderFanInMD @Lost Ones(#blackpride) for cosmetic reasons sutures are almost never used on the skin of the face, there's nothing to remove.  The evaluation would be for the arch itself to make sure that a new fracture hasn't formed in the interim.  Small Fractures are hard to see at the initial onset, its only when the bone starts to remodel that we can see it with imaging.

@TempBoy Brandon @okcjim I don't think that Morrow and Singler would pair well together, like JJ Reddick Dudley experiment in LAC.  You need more athleticism for transition buckets, etc.  I would favor Robes over Singler in that lineup.

Regardless of what else happens, I think we extend both Harden and Ibaka.  What is more interesting to me is the reasonableness of those contracts and if the unreasonableness forces a trade (albeit a better one than we would have next year) during the extension period or the oft presumed Perk amnesty.

@Jameswade99  @Tequila He isn't at all a Presti player.  I think at this point Presti is hoping that the royal jelly is going to work some miracles.  People have caught on to the importance of character and it seems that now everyone is buying high on character and intangibles. (See MKG at 2).  I think talent and ceiling alone were too high to pass at this point.  No one talked about him because no one thought he would be available.  In terms of raw talent...he is at the top of the draft no question.

I think that our roster is currently a little too stacked for any of the available prospects at 28 to add much.  This year I would actually like to see us move down and trade for Detroit's two 2nd rounders, Portland's or ...if they are willing, the cavs.  We could pick up Furkan Aldemir and another quality eurostash pick like Kostas Papanikolaou.  Some project Evan Fournier falling that far as well.

@FF_pickups  @sammasaaron  @Jo_Cro It doesn't matter.  Tibor is not an NBA-caliber backup and never will be, he has plateaued in his progress.  He has his height and his wingspan, but he can't do anything with it defensively.  He has a face-the-basket offensive game.  You are looking at a slightly larger, substantially less athletic Byron Mullens.

@John64 Whomever beats the Grizz it may prove to be a Pyrrhic Victory.  The Grizz are arguably the most physical team in the league and they are going to batter, bruise and exhaust whomever takes out making the (presumably) Spurs an easier out for us.  Conversely, they would make us an easier out for the Spurs if we held on to the number 1 seed.

If your goal is to win the championship, pissing off Perk so bad so that he misses every other game due to technicals seems like a good formula to make that happen.  There might be more to this than meets the eye.
