@Atone13 So I guess my catching this one is completely left to the graces of someone with a DVR... Well, hope springs eternal.
(Listening to Rist's voice in that one, I still can't help hearing Whiz from "Kidd Video" when he talks... but I digress.)
@Atone13 And I missed it too, DAMN! Where can I find footage of this?
I suspect that Bay is making these films just for kicks, and whether or not we actually take the bait means nothing to him. (Although, thinking about it in retrospect, Bay may be doing the same thing to us `80s kids as Michael Haneke did to horror audiences when he made Funny Games.)
Dang, all these recipes are making me hungry, and I just had a light snack! You really sell the recipes well, Mrs. Rolfe! A++!
As for the "Drunk n' Makin' Fish" joke, I find it humorous as well, albeit for a different reason than James does (James, if you're reading this, please forgive me for putting words in your mouth), and that reason is just pure randomness. (What can I say, I find "The Goon Show" hysterical.)

"The ball's on fire..." And I thought that kind of talk was reserved for the Board James segments... No offense intended, Mike, I'm just making a cheesy meta-gag.
But still, this movie is pretty much the cinematic equivalent of a PDQ Bach sym-phony. Plagiaristic at every turn, but still enough to make you laugh all the way.
What's the next movie you have lined up?

James is a "shy guy", eh? So if he wore a cannon mask, would he become a Snifit?

@Mike-Towns Oy vey... that pun was horrendous! A+
I'd make a suggestion as to what the Man in Black would represent, but I'm afraid it'd come out sounding a little too much like "1984" all over again.

@TweetAlexM I can just see it now... with such pseudonyms as "Hal Roachclip"...

Nice to meet you, Mrs. Rolfe. (May I call you that, since I know the man behind the nerd as well?)
First and second, I'm all for hearing your perspective on the experience.
Second-and-a-half, the female perspective is a very excellent idea. Your intervention on the potential sausage fest may have prevented the "wurst" from happening. (Sorry about that, I can't resist a good - or bad, depending on whose side you're on - pun.)
Third, not that I think it's a bad thing for James to take a break once in a while, I just think his constant output shows one heck of a work ethic. Methinks the teachers molded him a little too well. (Insert your own Pink Floyd joke here.)
Fourth, I'm looking forward to seeing your art and stories, as an aspiring comic writer/artist myself.
Thanks for lending an ear, best of wishes to you and yours,
Trevor "Prophet Wing" Rockett

Hmm... would you say the people who were going after the bugs members of the "Swat" team?

I signed the petition, there's no way I'm letting this SOPA idea see the light of day.

Mammoth Productions... sounds like the potential music-publishing arm of Cinemassacre. (Heck, if Saban and Warner could get away with it, why not?)

Ditto here. It might make for an interesting addition to the knowledge that the book had to offer. @miguel3979 @KirbyMatt

Here's how I explain the word "vampiricidal" - whereas "homicide" and "homicidal" refer to the act of murdering humans (or "herbicidal" for killing plant life), "vampiricide" is the act of killing a vampire.@miguel3979
Oh dear flan alive! The "Twin Swords" and "Joey the Killer"! Nostalgia-a-go-go today!
