@ThunderWins @persiansooner Salary cap started in 1985
1 year, 9 months ago on Rinse and Repeater: Why the Thunder are holding back
I have a question for older basketball fans:
in the the 90s were there articles that went into this much detail about salary cap and luxury tax? Did people care this much? Now every conversation I have with friends about any kind of roster moves (trade, free agency, etc) is centered around player salary. Was it always like this?
Prestis biggest mistake was letting bazemore go

@Royce Young @persiansooner Had this happened:http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/34805/why-westbrook-wont-work-in-okc
this year would have been around 66 wins and a ring, barring injury
1 year, 11 months ago on Thunder fall one step closer to bad history, 107-100
@AIaska @persiansooner @RWolverine You're crazy biased if you think westbrook is a top 5 player
@RWolverine actually now without harden I suppose russ would be better, but this stems from the point of KD+Harden+another above average, facilitating, high 3P% PG>KD+Harden+Russ. And KD+Harden+ Good PG>>>>KD+Russ+ Good SG
@RWolverine @persiansooner Yes they do wish they were Russell Westbrook because Russell Westbrook is much better than both of them. My point is about the fit on this team.
I am a "fervent Westbrook critic" and I shall continue to deny how much he means to the team. Westbrook is an elite player who had the 2nd highest usage in the NBA (only melo's USG was higher). When you SUBTRACT this, obviously the team will be in disarray. For a fair assessment you need to actually REPLACE him. If he hobbled off and Jrue Holiday or Ty Lawson or someone stepped in, everything would have been just fine. But what if KD went down and Batum or Gallo had to step in for him? Series over
The Chandler trade that wasnt gets too much heat: Chandler missed almost half the next year with foot/ankle injuries so Dr Yates was right about the toe being an issue. He averaged 6 and 6 that year (perk averaged 10 and 8). And then if he replicated his good contract year here there was no way he could have been resigned anyway
2 years ago on Knicks stay hot and cool the Thunder, 125-120
my theory for that style of shooting: I used to shoot the exact same way (except lefty) and I think it is because my right eye is MUCH stronger than my left, so I feel more aligned when i am shooting from my right side. If anyone gets a chance ask K mart if his left eye is stronger than his right

@Lambchop's Play-Along @persiansooner @Lambchop's Play-Along ha i misread it my B

while this page was loading it went all HTML for a split second, and I definitely saw a "disagree" button....how can I do that again?
That line of the night is hilarious
@Thunder S really cool song

@DooDooBrooks have to keep him in Harden role because of the lack of scoring in second unit

i want PJ3
Just realized something...my name was "persiansooner13", the 13 was for harden, I saw somewhere having numbers in your username was childish, I agreed, 2 days later Harden was traded................

@bmuelle21 not tested
Other than durant there are about 30 players who failed to bench 185, without cheating guess some of the others
I was messing with that draft express thing, looked at all time bench, #2 is this guy JP Batista...
Best Case:Lonny Baxter
Worst Case:Antonio Meeking
@Old Man Game @Tequila or Failure Harden did 17....*starts sobbing*
funny but not funny at the same time
@f5alcon @Jooseppi @RRRWHATEVER that 2010 draft is shaping up to be historically bad
@f5alcon @Jooseppi @RRRWHATEVER that would have been quite the reach
@Jooseppi @RRRWHATEVER look at the picks after aldrich in that draft tho...brutal
fantasy question: how do yall feel about the strategy of basically throwing away a category? I have a ton of 3 pt shooters, which should also be good for my FT%, but only 1 PG. Should I just concede the assist category or diversify?
@MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude just a swift kick in the ball balls while we were down
2 years, 5 months ago on TGR 79: It’s so Harden to say goodbye to yesterday
@MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude honestly I wasnt too shocked about the outcome of that, it was the way it happened, with news coming in about harden RIGHT before that INT
@tydude worst half hour of my sports life (other than iran losing to mexico in WC 06. That was brutal)
@dollarbillrussell @cemitten those are my favorite

That last fan question was:
"Do you think the Thunder can still beat the Lakers now that you left?"
Answer: "Im with the Rockets"
@tromeo143 yea its the biggest Arena screen in the world or something
@MisterJohnsonOKC @tromeo143 thats a tough word man haha
@thunder_mike im with ya bud but I think ill miss the skills a lot more than the fake beards
@Lost Ones cmon that top 10 is pretty close to what ud expect, right?
RAPM 2002-2011 top 20 worst defenders in the NBA
@Aren't its narrow because its only 4-5 years
@OBoy Jones III these are the rockets not the grizzlies, they got fans
@okcjim @persiansooner @GrapeNUTZ not arguing average defender part but kobe was 9-25, 12-28, and 18-33 those games
@GrapeNUTZ ill never forget going to the T wolves game last year and he was guarding wes johnson. He would be looking into the crowd before the ball was in play, but then he was still looking in the crowd when the ball was inbounded haha. Fortunately it was Wes Johnson and he obviously didnt do anything but man...cmon james
