Marc Gasol is probably the most confused out of the bunch.
Serge was on his own baseline when Westbrook had the ball stripped. I don't see how he's also one of the guys back to defend when the Rockets broke the other way. I think the baseline to baseline speed of a player should be one of the stats that are tracked next to their verticals.
Royce better not have jinxed this by posting a "Thunder are the most dominant team" introspective.
@Daniel Hawaii @OBoy And I hope Presti gives Kobe a 1-way ticket to Tulsa so he can hoop with Jeremy Lamb.
@Lost Ones Collison needs a payback game against Melo. one-on-one.
@Lost Ones Did you see Jeremy Lin's 360 layup against Fisher last year????
I wonder if RonRon (I mean World Peace) thinks better of Serge after the illegal use of hands incident
I can't recall seeing Ibaka flop.
@Sigmund @justin_mia Well, I'm thinking best 2-guard or swing guy... Lillard is just crushing it for the pure guards.
Not that I wish anyone have to play for the Wizards and Cavs, but Id rather see Lamb or Jones out there hoopin instead of Beal and Waiters.
@OBoy Jones III Yeah you really think when Martin leaves that they're going to put Lamb as the 6th man? OKC isn't going to use Lamb anyway. The youth movement is over. Either guys come in with an established role or they don't come in at all.
Lamb is nothing but a bargaining chip at this point for the Thunder to make some play in the market. And that's fine by me - I just hope Presti trades him sooner than later.
@OBoy Jones III That's why I am advocating the Thunder trade Lamb. OKC won't give Lamb any meaningful minutes and it sucks for the kid.
Idiots like Joe Alexander and Terrence Williams even had a shot... Lamb is basically getting written out without a whimper.
I don't expect Lamb to be dumb enough to voice a concern (like Royce White) because Lamb is still a basketball professional. But things aren't going to get better for him unless there is some injury or weird circumstance. Which sucks for Lamb because you know the kid can play; and I want to see him play.
Same goes for T Jones... the Rockets just have too much young talent to use him... but you know it'd be fun to watch the guy play in the NBA.
@justin_mia Uh... okay? He's averaging 20/5 but his recent stats have been better. You want him putting up 40 a night? Does he need to average a double-double like Terrence Jones?
Neither Lamb or Jones shouldn't be in the DLeague... they should be getting about 10-15 minutes a night in the NBA against NBA talent.
Their particular circumstance doesn't serve them - but it still sucks that OKC is going to poop all over this kid and not even give him minutes. I know OKC wants to win now and can bide their time, but that's a terrible thing to do to a guy that was mock-drafted in the top 10.You know the Kings are just kicking themselves right now for taking Robinson.
@justin_mia I can't even figure out why the Thunder wanted Lamb in the Harden trade. Was he there just to make salaries work? It doesn't sound like OKC is committed to having a redshift freshman shooting guard next year.
@justin_mia Tell me which team in the NBA other than OKC and Houston would have this kid in the DLeague instead of getting some minutes on the floor.
Even the Jazz would be using this guy and they have like 4 mediocre swing guys plus a terrible Randy Foye.
I really hope the Thunder trade Jeremy Lamb to a team that needs him... it's pathetic watching the guy stagnate and his career is basically on a fast-track-to-crap-town since he just can't get minutes on a Championship contending squad.
Doesn't Presti or Brooks feel bad for this kid? They have to do something... Lamb shouldn't be an afterthought in this league.
@justin_mia @okcjim Haha I wasn't caring about salaries. I just want to see Lamb play instead of watching him get discouraged in the DLeague.
@okcjim @justin_mia I think this is more of a courtesy to Lamb... he shouldn't be in the D-League.
@justin_mia @okcjim Jeremy Lamb
