As feverishly violent as Russ plays with his rim attacking and chance taking defensively, it's really remarkable he has never missed a game..
The turnover problem is a runaway train. It scares the living daylights out of me.. I realize OKC, or at least Brooks is an iso offense guy and we will never rack up a ton of assists as a team...but that margin of assists to turnovers seems to be growing further and further apart. Something as simple as 2 or 3 quick ball reversal passes as opposed to dribbling toward 2 trapping defenders would help bring them both closer together.
I've noticed. Sad thing is that issue was supposedly a point of emphasis in the off season "rule adjustments" for officials. Along with not being allowed to bump into a defender in attempt to draw a foul (ahemm, Martin tonight at the end) and the play of getting a defender to jump and lean into him for a foul. I still see a whole lot of that going on.
Pinto is really really good. If not for synchronization issues, I'd mute and listen to him every game. At first, I liked our homer announcers and the way they get excited for our team. I have defended BD and Grant Long on several occasions. But now, their propaganda is beginning to wear me out.

Fezzy OKC just has phenomenal basketball talent with the big 3 especially. Not to mention one of the 3 biggest superstars on Earth .. Those win loss records are not due to great coaching. If Brooks had, say, Philly's roster, they'd be a hair above .500 at best
ChilamBilam12 Yes. Our super tight lipped, paranoid front office really pisses me off. They get by with this now being 22-7 and all campers are happy. But be this way with a 7-22 record down the road and fans WILL quit them.
Fezzy big time agree. I think people often overlook that they are just kids. I was dumb and unseasoned as hell at 23. I'm still dumb, but anyway..

Aren't Not disagreeing with you at all, but that's the way it's gonna be as long as Brooks is here. His philosophy is use our big 3 in iso. It's like any random street pick up game. I don't know why we even have practice. This offense can be taught/installed in one 5 minute session

Remify What was he supposed to do? Not guard him? It was a cheap foul. Martin flopped like a 30/30 rifle blasted him. Perk's rep and the flop got the whistle, there was no foul. Damn sure not a shooting foul.

The Martin 2 shot foul (no foul to begin with) was every bit as bad as the Portland goaltend. We're even NBA.

There are a lot of really good players in the NBA, OKC doesn't have all of them. It's tough, especially on the road. I agree I'm always up for improving, but some are just ridiculous.
Man! So much negativity here tonight. That was a bigtime win against a team that had ONE home loss. "fire Brooks" "do this" "do that". You realize OKC was in the WCF last season and has the BEST record in the whole entire league, right!? With a bunch of 24 year olds.. (Not directed to all, just the constant pessimist)
