The article fails to mention that while GDP grew, it grew at the expense of the middle class and small to middle sized companies. Only the big conglomerates got richer... everyone else is worse off than before and thanks to the undervaluing of the won, the majority of the population is not reaping the benefits of the increased GDP.
Is it possible (not asking whether it's wise or likely) for the Lakers to sign Allen with whatever mini exception they have and field a '96 team to go against the Heat's '03 team? Just curious ;)
As a Laker fan since Kareem and Kobe fan since 81pts, I'm not too worried about it. It is entirely possible that Kobe will end his career as the most hated man ever, but time will put things into perspective eventually. Too bad that he chose the black mamba as his nickname... Darth Vader would have been so much more apt, missing cartilage and all.
