I like that the twilight paleboy photo behind Mike and beside Bela Lugosi has been crossed out
@XhavierQuinones Everyone was certainly not amazed, when I first watched it on DvD or whatever I thought it was an ok film but I was never amazed with it. And if you've watched James review of it, you'd know he wasn't amazed either. To be fair it had ok moments, the visuals were indeed good but it all got smothered in terrible music choise and cluthered scenes where you couldn't tell one robot from the other because they looked way to similar, the autobots were for the most part just really stupid and stereotypically, I liked Optimus I suppose.. didn't feel "raped" over the decisions they made with him. But Shia Lebouf and his family got on my nervers like a raging insanity, and megan fox is only there because she's hot which I feel is completely unecessary.. it doesn't help that she's portrayed as a stereotypical female douche either. We were supposed to have a movie about the transformers but what we got instead felt more like some kind of overproduced feature lenght linkin park music video. The second one pretty much flat out sucked and I take pride in not even bothering with watching the third one on DVD or anything.
@Hastaj00 They're still pretty crappy regardless of how far he's come because he doesn't make them with the respect that they deserve.
Maybe Michael Bay directed this first game.
@ClaudioPaola Yes, however. Like I've been saying, if Michael Bay is even going to have any part in the creation of this movie I won't have a single qualm about refusing to go see it.
Ah I should have mentioned in my long entry that this would be a good time to revisit the Casey Jones fan film that is budget-limited, and ultimately ten times more awesome than Bays film is likely to ever be whatever the majority of mindless moviegoers might think, it's gonna be the Batman Begins all over again I think, just adding another crappy director into the mix.

Ah, I was the discussing the same thing with a buddy today when I heard that he was involved. Personally I've decided to boycott Michael Bay's movies because it's exactly like you say James, it's gonna continue to be like this because people pay to go see these movies.
Hollywood doesn't care about your nostalgia or directors passion for filmmaking, which is why we all here should really look fordward to the AVGN Movie and personally I'm really excited about it judging from what I've seen so far, that is.. your production bloggs.
Now as for Michael Bay, I really hate that guy.. if I personally would ever be offered to work in the movie industry, I'd never work with him.. I also read that after Armageddon (which I actually find decent due to a great cast - Ben Affleck) Bruce Willis stated that he would never work with Michael Bay again, now I don't know if this is true or not but it kinda speaks for itself that not only the fan world is looking down on him.
People, here's what we gotta do: Stop going to see movies like these and I'm not just talking about Michael Bay's movies, I mean this whole genre of films in general.. y'know, the movies that are obviously just out there to make a buck, because then.. and only then, will Hollywood be forced to try new ideas and give other directors with a true passion behind filmmaking a chance. So long as Hollywood make top dollar on movies that are infact just loosely based on some classic element, it's not gonna get diffrent. I've tried to explain to my buds about how terrible this kind of thing is, without much luck but perhaps the crowd here is more mature about understanding what makes films good, I believe we are and that's why we come here to cinemassacre.
Haha, James is to frickin cool in this
@cassmi Yeah, either way .. my point was that I'd rather watch something entertaining like this instead of some new "blockbuster" which was only made to earn hollywood another buck.
This is exactly why we all should love Cinemassacre, old forgotten campy b-movies are shined upon here for a brief moment to remind us of the days when bad movies could be something really fun, unlike today where bad movies are just a flat screen full of CGI and mind numbing action that doesn't even get you pumped for being bad. In other words, there's a good bad and just a boring and terrible bad. This movie is an example of good bad, or funny bad.. call it whatever you want. Am I even making any sense?
I've been wondering if James ever finished Lords of shadows that he made a brief video for a few years ago. That game has gone by pretty unrecognised but damn is it good! Like he originally said, that game didn't need to have the label Castlevania but it still delivers far more of the original stuff I'd say.
Uuuurgh
I like how there just happens to be a pile of boxes stacked there for no apparent reason.
Ah hehe, caught the spinal tap refrence.
Here's a link of a speedrun someone managed to do with this game, it's not really that long of a game but yeah it's hard as hell, anyway you can presume the link is safe as it's a youtube link

Anyone else but me who thought Mike was gonna throw in an image of slave Leia right after the comment about stuping to sex appeal?
@kaneda_bjf That is "The Shining" by Stanley Kubrick, one of the best horror movies ever made.
