Aldon may smash the Sack record and they will have to give it to him but he is definitely the product of being on a great D.
@bgoldberg @joemcmackin ultimately if you don't like someone, you don't hire them. But to flat out call anyone a "loser" because they can't recall anything they learned in college makes you look like an arrogant douche. But then again being an arrogant douche usually makes for good blogging
Disagree with you about the college questions. Many 18 year olds have no idea what they want to do and what they want to study in college. Most that don't know what they want to do probably don't want to go and want to drop out but their parents will kill them. I do agree with the other 3 questions though. Now if the person you interviewed had bad answers for all those questions then not hiring him makes sense.
I think you have a pretty good point. I don't pay much attention to the nba during football season but the storylines have mainly been about like you said, New York teams and harden. You could also throw the lakers in as well. Lebron just needs one of those 50 pt games for every to start talking about him again.
They are definitely going to need to do some work on the offensive line in the off season.
Ha, the picture of you with the Fedora should be your profile pic.
I think 20 attempts makes sense. I would wonder if there are qbs out there that had similar situations though that would also be there if it was 15 attempts
It's totally unbelievable what dickey did this year. I am an sf giants fan and dickey still might be my favorite major leaguer. I love guys who figure out ways to use 100% of their ability to be successful.
Wow, good point. The lacrosse people must be up in arms especially since they are the revenue generator. I haven't looked into it but this must be happening with a lot of the small sports and all the conference moves.
Pretty interesting when you compare this situation out west where the clippers are looking much better than the lakers. La and New York are bandwagon cities so it would be interesting to see both the clippers and the nets dominating their foes for once.
Its easy to say RG3 is better right now but if you look at Cam's numbers up until this point in his rookie they are just as good as RG3. It will be interesting what happens to RG3 once teams get a year of film to study his tendencies and work at defending him better because the extra year of experience has helped defenses a lot more than Cam Newton
You are pretty much spot on. Plain old bad coaching is killing this team of course in combination with Cam Newton coming back to reality and being a below average QB
Feel bad for Adrian but Peyton pretty much has comeback player of the year and the MVP locked up.
You are right. Curry does need double hi tops if there is such a thing. I feel like they were around in the 80s
Was thinking about reaching for chandler in one league where my TE situation is brutal but I am going to stick myers post concussion against the saints
I am sure he will have a second half resurgence to get that large free agent contract
One other thought is that Hurricane Sandy totally threw this team off especially Eli as he had to live in a hotel for a while. Maybe that killed his routine.
Some thoughts that come to mind is that Coughlin is only a big game coach and his style only works well when his teams backs are against the wall. I am also wondering if Eli is hiding an injury. The guy hasn't had 3 games in a row without a TD pass since his rookie season.
If big ben wants to have a long career, he will need to change his ways an study the way Peyton Manning takes hits and gets rid of the ball quickly. It's the only way a QB can last night. Defensive Lineman and Linebackers are getting bigger and stonger every year.
"we moved from the 27th payroll to the 29th payroll in the league…Yipeee!!!" Love that line. Classic. You could say movie night was the turning point in the season. That was a great read!
