@Hannibal8us I'll have to find a working copy of it. Maybe I can review it someday. I'd still like to at least play it.

@statueofmike Retro games are the games I grew up with, and am most familiar with.

I had a large collection of retro games in college. I'm sure I had to be the only one at U-Arts with an Atari 5200 at the time. Which later I gave to James to make that episode.

I also had a cabinet with drawers full of hundreds of NES games. James and I would often play old NES games in college. We spent many nights playing Trojan (nes) and making fun of it. I believe James borrowed a copy of Rygar from me another time which he has a funny story about..

Anyway, even though James made the Simons Quest video shortly after college in 2004, I believe one of the main reasons he made that video was because all the time we spent reminiscing about nes games during college.

Many of the early Nerd videos were games James borrowed from me, because at the time he didn't have the amazing NES collection he does now.

Games I definitely remember James borrowing from me for early Nerd episodes were Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Karate Kid, McKids, Master Chu, Double Dragon 3, Top Gun: The Second Mission and most of the ones in the Power Glove video. (the stack sitting next to the TV in the video) I think the Power Glove itself was mine as well. It's actually been so long now that I've forgotten. 2006 was a long time ago!

I do remember the TMNT video, we took turns playing the game. The part in the video where the turtle is jumping trying to get the pizza is actually me playing.

Anyway, point is, retro games are what I know! So thats (mostly) what I review.

@JustinRomero I'm just not into the idea of using an emulator. If I can't do it on the actual system, then I'm not going to do it. For me, it defeats the purpose.

Strange that so many people seem to be having trouble viewing this video on Spike. It works fine for me here in the US. It seems to be mostly people outside the US having the problem. I have sent a message to Spike seeing if there's anything they can do. If it's any consolation, it will eventually be available to watch here.

@jack hopkins  @JJAB91 This is an old post, but this is the main list. We continually update it. We have not published game lists for systems like Wii because we don't have very many Wii games. And the show focuses on retro games, so there's no point in listing that stuff right now.

Hey everyone, I see that there was a troll on the site today. As Inspector Gadget would say, he was leaving "asshole comments". Anyhow, I'm going to delete every comment that doesn't have to do with the movie review.

@Ceyx_Helel I already explained why it was taken off multiple times. It has nothing to do with censoring. I was tired of people not understanding that "motherfucker" didn't mean I fuck mothers. It meant "bastard". From now on that name is reserved for board james only.

@Nicholas Coleman I’ve noticed that other video reviewers started using title cards after I did mine. Frankly, I always thought it was pointless. If you’re reviewing a game, show the game cover. If you’re reviewing a movie, show the movie poster. There’s no need for some artist to draw a title card for an online review.

In the beginning, when I started doing them, it was just something I threw in there for fun. Without really thinking about it. But really, it never needed to be there.

Like take Kid Kool or Dark Castle for example. Those videos were fine and there was no title card. The video didn’t need it. The only time I plan on making drawings is if the video requires it for some reason. For example, look at the Treasure of the Four Crowns review I just did where I drew Link. There was a reason for it there. So, you’ll see my drawings when there’s a purpose. I discussed all this with James for a long time. And decided to make the ROB title card my last. Though the show itself will continue.

@JerrySanbox These movie reviews have nothing to do with Spike. I got rid of the Motherfuckin Monday title because a large majority of people watching on here and youtube did not understand what I was going for. The name "Motherfucker" was supposed to be like a bastard. But many people thought it had to do with fucking mothers. And I was tired of hearing it.

@Jarnor When I saw Phantom Menace in the theater, I remember thinking the CGI was terrible in certain parts. When they went down to Jar Jars underwater city, and the king shook his head, with spit coming out. I specifically remember thinking that looking god awful. And the entire scene where they fought on that green field of grass looked bad. All the droids look copy-pasted and synthetic.

There are many scenes in the Phantom Menace where they just blab on and on about trade federations and shit and it bores me to tears.

Both Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen were terrible. Lloyd I can forgive, i guess, because he's just a kid. But every scene where Hayden Christensen speaks is painful to watch.

@metalcommand@FloridaBoy Yeah, the last thing I'd want to see is a remake of this. A remake would never be able to capture what makes this movie special. ANd as metalcommand pointed out, they would undoubtedly use CGI, and the practical effects are a large part of what makes this film impressive. Besides, there's too many remakes in general anyhow.
