Why are people so high on Steven Adams? He averaged 6 rebs in 24 minutes and he cant shoot free throws.
I'm sure he's got his pros but I'm definitely not too excited.
To be honest, not really excited by any prospect this year.
So sorry to see the carnage that has hit Oklahoma. My prayers are with all the people affected and hope all DT'ers family and friends are safe.So deeply saddened to hear about those poor children, hurts my heart to see such pain.
It's times like these I feel so lucky to live in a city that's never faced a truly horrific natural disaster.
@ThunderChick2010 @TrueChamp Russell Westbrook is mean mugging you after that comment.
A quick note on Thabo which could explain his up and down defense; he's always battling plantar fasciitis. He said he often plays through pain. This could be hindering him a bit in terms of defensive movement. Doesn't make up for the doubling when not needed and the terrible shooting in the playoffs, but food for thought. Maybe we need a new Thabo?
Does Deandre Liggins have enough potential to fill that role?
I think Thabo has plenty left in him, just needs to get his mind and foot right. It could of been poor defensive game planning as well. Who knows with Scotty B?
Russ in his interviews since the injury has bee so refreshing.
I like happy Russ for interviews, but I missed intense Russ for games.
Deandre Liggins has a great work ethic and attitude. If Thabo has another solid regular season and gets paid on his next contract I feel Deandre can handle that spot if he continues to work hard.
Presti; don't lose this young man, someone else will pick him up and he's already cheap. Sign him to a non-guaranteed deal and then you're fine.
Pssht. Winnings for chumps. Just ask Lebron.
@OBoy @Stringer Bell @Aren't I am nothing if not high quality.
Problem: All the thunder do is take jump shots.
Solution: Trade KD & Kevin Martin for Dwight Howard because he doesn't take jump shots. And trade Westbrook for Al Jefferson because he has a low post game.
Barkley will pick us as champs for sure then!
I will say the one thing that annoys me is how so many writers are trying to sell this years playoffs as awesome... Injury has robbed us. Westbrook, Rose, Lee, Griffin, Deng and Rondo all would of been big contributors. Sucks the way it turned out.
Now it looks likely the finals will be Memphis (healthy) vs Miami (healthy). Memphis had to go through the Clips which was relatively tough but they had their struggles with Blake's ankle and Miami have had a cake walk with Milwaukee and a depleted Chicago. If they win and lose four or less games in their playoff run there are a lot of writers who want to put them in the historically great teams category for winning 60+ and going through the finals losing less than four games. I think that's bullshit when you look at the teams they have faced so far and who they are likely to face. In honesty, when healthy the three best teams in the league are probably Miami, OKC and Chicago. Miami won't play either of those at full strength.
Whilst you can never discredit what a team goes through to win the title, it really sucks that injury has robbed us of some great basketball.
@Amnesty Perkins @ErickAF Poor DXL. You'll never let him live that down.
Sometimes we make mistakes.
@GREENE1148 @KD4theWin Let him go, it's pretty funny and helping me work through the loss.
I hope we extend Brooks for another 4 years. I really like his hair gel.
