I'm more of an In-between Turtle fan. I grew up watching the Live action movies and I watched Reruns of the original show back in the 90s. I also had a couple of toys and TMNT coloring books, so you could say I kinda grew up with the classic series, but it wasn't until I was in my teens that the newer TMNT series aired and I really got hooked. I just thought it was awesome to finally see a Turtle show that wasn't random reruns I happen to catch on TV. I stopped watching it after it entered a small hiatus in between one of the seasons and a couple of years later I saw the trailer for this. I thought it was going to be complete shit so I passed on it. Bad mistake, I decided to rent it when it was released on DVD and ended up loving the damn thing for the exact reasons that James mentioned in his review. I felt like I was watching part of the old show/movies I saw in the 90s while at the same time It was a continuation of the new show that I loved watching in my Teens... I really need to get a copy of flick
