If those tweets are true then he's right. While Florida has been consistently high in the rankings I think the national spotlight has definitely been on the likes of Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Syracuse, Arizona, Oklahoma St., Michigan, and Michigan St. more so than Florida. They've definitely been the San Antonio Spurs of college basketball this year.

Its a shame ESPN and Carillo don't have a good relationship since ESPN is starting to monopolize Tennis.

This is just the peak of white guilt. Until Native Americans publicly show some sort of disapproval there is absolutely no need to change anything. Very disappointed in the PD. Way to make something out of a non-issue.

Finally they separate Greg Gumbel and Charles Barkley. They had terrible chemistry. Gumbel had no idea how to handle Barkley's off the cuff remarks. I also like adding Clark Kellogg to the mix. I think he'll fit in really well.

Good point. I was thinking ESPN had a large enough talent pool that they could come up with a great group of anchors. Then I realized they'd find some way to weasel in the First Take guys and ruin everything.

NBA/TNT wasted a good opportunity to revitalize the Dunk Contest. Actually the whole night was bad. The way EJ's audio was wired into the arena made Nick Cannon particularly useless and frankly in the way most of the time.

Sports center also had a Screengrab Snafu. While talking about the UK v Florida basketball game they had the Florida State logo on the screen.

Please do a write up of Pete Holmes on TNT's NBA Tip-off. That was the worst cross promotion I've seen in a while. They didn't get any of Holmes' jokes and essentially steamrolled him. Plus there were those awkward questions about him not being a sports fan that only exacerbated the situation.

Why wouldn't Fox want it? Wrestling pairs very well with NASCAR.

@MUPfeif Yes. Especially when they have Dan Patrick and others.

Hmm, that's interesting. I'm not saying you're wrong I just don't remember that being true. As I remember I was shocked at how many people still used IE simply because it came preinstalled with windows.
1 month ago on Few people made the trip to Fox Sports 1 after the Super Bowl
Fox Sports Live is much much better than Sports Center. I'd compare Sports Center to Internet Explorer and Fox Sports Live to Chrome. Chrome was clearly better than IE but it still took a while to convince people to switch. You just don't know what you're missing until you've tried Fox Sports Live.
Very good write up. Keep up the good work.

I hate hate hate this decision. Would have loved it to go to NBCSN, FSI, or ABC. FS1 and NBCSN need content and ABC could use it as a springboard to get back in the Super Bowl rotation.
Why does ESPN give these babbling blowhards so much airtime? Couldn't they extend Around the Horn and PTI to an hour each or give Olberman two hours? I mean literally any of their other shows (except for that new Colin Cowherd show) would be a better use of airtime.

No TMZ Sports will unfortunately be worse than ESPN.

Makes sense. Wrestling pairs well with NASCAR.

This would never happen but ideally the package would go to CBSSN. Then it would force cable/satellite companies to treat CBSSN like a basic sports channel and stop charging us extra.

Why isn't Fox mentioned? Every time a notable announcer or analysts leaves their current network I would assume Fox would be interested in acquiring them (NFL aside).
