I'm surprised that Casey's the one filing this bill, but I'm glad to see someone in this state standing up for what's right.
Hopefully, McCaskill and Nixon won't submarine the effort to protect our fine state against the fed gov.
A very superficial article that does not address the reasons why MODERN wheat can be a poor food choice.
It has to do with hybridization of wheat (and other grains) by agri-corporations that are more concerned with getting out MORE over and against HEALTHY product.

The "problem" is that bully breeds want nothing more than to please the alpha of the pack, i.e. their human master. So even if that means being vicious and attacking, they will do it to make their "loving" master happy.
I want to cry when I think of the horrid things people do to dogs...

I have an AB that is often mistaken for a pit. I say, "Well, no, but kind of..." Bud D is the mellowest dog on four wheels. If he were any more laid back, he'd fold in half. It's astounding how wonderfully sweet he is, b/c his former owners (drug dealers) tried to make him aggressive. Fortunately for us, the police turned him over to a bully rescue, and we now have the most excellent companion dog in the world (well, the most excellent one for us - I'm sure there are many folks who feel the same way about their bully buddies!)
The one dangerous thing about him is his gaseous emissions. Whew! Oh, and his tail is somewhat treacherous... When you have two tons of love stuffed into the back end of a dog, all that energy is concentrated when the tail whips around!
