It's sad but true. I'm lucky enough to be gifted tickets in section 109 a few times a year. Most if the time, I'm the only one yelling and not wearing a suit. However during games like this past Sunday against the Panthers, which are much cheaper tickets than the average game, there were a ton of actual fans. Jerseys everywhere, high fives from strangers, etc. It really only proves the point that money is holding real fans back and it's sad. There used to be so much more comradery and sense of community in the garden.

Can't believe Richards outright said he lost faith in Torts.

Learning to put the puck on net wouldn't hurt him either...

The update before this one had Moore. Why would they remove him? On a side note why all the Stralman hate? I think the guys been pretty consistent.

@StandnHere yeah that certainly could happen but I think they'll be a force. Their biggest weakness is between the pipes.

@StandnHere I don't know. They didn't deal away anyone that's dressing. They're going to be tough regardless.
Looked tougher tonight which I liked. Newbury was more impressive than I expected. How about that shoot goal by Step?

It's so hard to say what Torts should or shouldn't have done early. Of you remember he was skating them hard through the first few but the leadership group came to him and said they were dead (which they looked at the time) so he started going heavy in film and, at the time, it worked and they started putting some wins together. My guess is he went with that plan a little too long and some guys got lazy.

@Bettmansheadonaplatter lol. That was an impressive vertical leap considering he was on skates.
It's funny that you mention Nash giving out lessons. I've noticed a few players starting to protect the puck the way he does. Especially Stepan. It seems he's really understanding how to use his body to shield the puck.

I gotta say. I thought Bickel had his best game this year.

@RangerGuy99 I agree there. He plays a ton. Right now, I'm really liking his shot from the point. But I also agree Stralman is a better option than DZ at this point.
@RangerGuy99 Girardi has a pretty mean sloper and he consistently puts it on net. No problem with him out there.
@KevinDeLury @JoshKaye as much as I'd love it, I don't think we see Miller at center. With 4 other centers, he's the only one versatile enough to play the wing.

@KevinDeLury @JoshKaye I love that Nash is so good that when he starts at 9 points in 11 games, its a slow start.

I'm now 2-0 at games I attend. And I agree about McD I lost a hat to Gabby and I was ready to lose one to Miller.

@KevinDeLury he did make a pretty sweet play on that Nash goal. I think he'll be great. Plus they're wearing the heritage jerseys tonight so I fully expect a win. Haha.
