@Twinhulls It isn't for being 'too happy', it is the damage that is done to the tail and can't heal if they are in a shelter where they will wag their tale whenever someone walks by or speaks to them.  It is a medical condition for dogs like Pits that have bony tails.

I couldn't be happier for Doug, Mia or you.  Finding him a family and finding Mia a new friend is the best gift in the world. Plus, you got a wonderful new pet. Thanks for giving him a forever home.  #HFF

I feel bad for all involved. The Dad that actually thinks his God, a God of Love I presume, would damn his child to hell for the way He made her when she was born. For the daughter who lost both parents for so many years out of sheer ignorance. For her partner that had to calm and soothe her when she would be thinking and missing him & for God who only wants us to love one another. If you read the Bible, Dad, you'd see that being LGBT in the Old Test. considered an Abomination. Like growing more than one veggie in a garden or wearing two types of textile at a time. It''s not a Commandment, nor is it a sin! Christ, in the New Test. never said even 1 word regarding LGBT people. He loved and accepted all. Remember the woman at the well? So if your 'religious' friends have anything to say... Just know that she isn't sinning by Loving. God is Love. Above all Love! Thank Him daily for giving you the brains to finally realize that.

Where do I begin with you. Have you seen a picture of God? How do you know what 'God's Image' is then? "We are ALL" that's inclusive. ALL in God's image. 'Pull the plank from your eye before pointing out the splinter in mine'. If it was a Choice as you are so sure of, why would anyone choose such a difficult life? It isn't a sin. It's not 1 of the 10 Commandments, Jesus never said 1 word about it. The Bible says it's an abomination. So is eating shrimp, so is wearing a mixed textile garment, so is planting more than 1 veggie in your garden. Judge not, lest you be judged. After all, that is God's job, is it not? Everyone is a sinner, only Christ was perfect. That doesn't make being Gay a sin. People make it a sin with their hate and their words.

Everyone was born loving & accepting as a baby. All the rest is what you are taught as you are raised and by people that you respect. That doesn't make them correct. Please don't judge, no one would choose to be gay. I sure wouldn't. I tried not to be.Peace be with you.

I'm Christian, I don't believe LGBT is a sin, the Christian Bible says it's an abomination. Like growing more than 1 item in your crop, wearing more than 1 textile, eating shellfish, .... I think the Bible says it's as bad as eating shrimp or wearing a cotton/poly Tee or Granny's Garden with tomatoes & carrots all in 1 garden.

As far as me, I'm a Lesbian. I tried not to be. Finally, "This is who I am & if I'm gonna be happy, I have to accept who I am!" I started to slowly tell some dear friends. Some have distanced & some love me as I am. They make me proud, I did picked them! Family is great. I'm in a 16 yr relationship. I have str8 friends that can't say that & they marry!

We moved in a tiny town & surrounded by haters. We own our home & are up-side-down in the mortgage, can't afford to move. So we have to tolerate hate. I would love to lash out at them like some do, but that is what they would expect of us. I smile and say, "Hello", I treat them w/respect. This is the same town that got mad at me in the only store, cus of 3 Hispanic guys counting change to buy bread & peanut butter, wearing t-shirts & it's snowing! I had the line wait to grab 3 thick sweatshirts & bought them for something warm to wear. The people acted like I had burned the money.

We try to love everyone. We think, "There go I, but for the Grace of God." As bad as it seems, look around...
