@ I’m out man. Y’all n***** trippin’ @Fezzy "Participation" medal!
@T-Fred Sacramento deserves their team. I'm not saying Seattle doesn't deserve one, but Sacramento should keep theirs.
Good for them.
@OkcBaby KD is just burning himself out on the defensive end. Honestly, Memphis isn't playing as good of D on him as I expected to see.
I'm totally with Royce on how it feels like the Thunder are only beating themselves. No slight to the grizzlies, but they haven't shown me anything that's made me feel like they're a lot better than the Thunder.
The missed shots are on the Thunder -- most of those were open looks, not bad shots.
When watching it, it feels like the Thunder are playing against a Very Hard A.I. Execute, and you win. Don't, and you lose. The grizzlies are a known quantity -- not as much variance as Houston or the Clippers with their endless barrage of 3s.
@Stephen Jackson is not about this spelling I was JUST about to come down here and say almost exactly that.
Too much (self-imposed) pressure due to the loss of Russ. They are spending energy on the 'I have to make up for his loss' line of thinking.
@BallSoHard Push ups ON the scorer's table.
@ThunderChick2010 It confused me. So I'm proposing "TrC"
@TrueChamp I wish he had gotten some more minutes during the season -- but that attitude fits right in with the Thunder. Good for him.
I wonder why Ibaka started psyching himself out. He was hitting everything ALL year. *Sigh*
At least KD is proving his awesomeness (again) to the media.
@TrueChamp I agree with geezer -- Problem is between the ears. He should've come back in limited minutes as soon as the doctors said he wouldn't be doing himself any harm.
He should get help for that as well, but I'm not sure anyone has insisted on him doing that yet.
Anyone else have flashbacks to KD saying he's done with being second? I love the ferocity.
And someday, Jackson is going to finish one of those flying dunks.
I'm pretty impressed with Royce using this many words to apologize. That's some epic humble pie consuming right there.
Good on you, man.
@I'd Wink At Me @Landstander Honestly, we're half expecting to leave the game and go to the hospital. Also, she won't have a choice...she WILL be a Thunder fan. And she will NOT be a Lakers fan.
Couple of strict house rules. ;)
My wife and I were thinking of going to the game anyway. We thought it'd be funny if she went into labor but we waited out a couple of overtimes.
@I'd Wink At Me My wife and I would love to go. I sent a text. C'mon DTers, let's get this going.
If my wife is almost 9 months pregnant and wants to come, I won't accept any excuses from the rest of you! ;)
@LebronKingJames A *real* god could control his hairline. And forehead size.
A non-Thunder fan co worker of mine asked me this morning, "When is Durant going to fall over and die from having to carry the whole team? Game 5? 6?"
I said "I'm not sure, but he's such a good guy, I'd expect some sort of resurrection. And he'll play in home whites the rest of the playoffs."
My avatar is a degree or two away from fish -- Ron Swanson loves to go fishing, which leads him to fish. So, in this case, Ron is Presti, fishing is Brooks, and the fish is Fisher.
@Old Man Game @bmuelle22 I don't think that's entirely fair. They were still supporting the team during losing seasons.
The fanbase reaction to losing their first playoff series was awesome.
People are disappointed about Westbrook's injury -- I know that I didn't read about Thunder-related stuff for a day or so after hearing it. Not because I don't care, but because I cared enough to have it suck.
And really, the Thunder didn't give the team much to cheer about in game 5. Every time they gained some momentum, the Rockets hit a couple of 3s and it was back to disappointment.
Hopefully this series will be different.
