@CarloSimone The hope is that the Magic can build a little while he's still affordable. Might give him extra incentive to stick around in 2016 and not chase the (probably well deserved) big dollars.
@CarloSimone Correct. We don't absolutely have to trade him. I'm just pointing out that it's a likely option at the deadline.
@diamnddog1 I agree with you on Big Baby. I'm actually writing about that for next week. I think you've misunderstood me, though. I like E'Twaun. He's getting close to getting his PER up to 15. But right now, while he's young and prone to looking a bit lost, I don't think his scoring is enough to make him a leader on the team.
@Andrew3 Totally agree about the new system. It's why I qualified by saying, "at this point." He's timid, sloppy, and makes bad decisions. Of course that will get better over time.
@Monkeygq He played 42 games and shot over 50 percent from the field and over 45 percent from three. Do we also discount everyone's stats from last season too? He also has played in 44 playoff games and has a career 17.1 PER in playoff games. The point here is that he is a veteran with very strong post season experience.
JasonCrispell Only implying that Anderson is averaging (as a starter) more minutes than in previous seasons. And as evidenced by other teams around the league, being a starter doesn't mean you get 30 minutes per game.
CarloSimone Perhaps you misread... I said that I hope he never shaves it.
