I would like to see Smith, Brennan, and Bodie to stay in the organization, they all look really good, especially Smith and Bodie, they showed the talent to be able to be called up and step into the line-up no problem

@djamon @JMaster He's got skill and you can't keep him in the minors forever. He looked real good in the playoffs last year, he had 2 points tonight, give him time with players like Raymond who can move the puck with him, and his size, McClement and Kulemin were real good together last year and can shut down easily as Bolland, Raymond and Colborne. I think he would fit

Van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Kessel

Lupul - Kadri - Clarkson

Colborne - Bolland - Raymond

Kulemin - Mcclement - Orr

Beat that starting line-up

@darthNihilus I don't know if Franson will want to remain an RFA, he has the skill to break any spot on any team and he knows that.

@Xxxxxnew He also got less ice time nobody pointed out. He went from second line winger to third. The only question is if he will be needed after Kadri and Franson, because there has to be room for our prospects to grow. New players with experience wont help in the long run if we can't let in our new players. Colburne looks ready enough if he can have a stable line, he looked real good in the playoffs, he just needs NHL experience now. He's past the AHL.

I agree that it's not Kadri, but i don't think it's Nonis either. There's a pressure on both sides, with Kadri deserving more then a couple bucks, but Nonis trying to determine how much to divvy up to afford him AND Franson who does't seem to get brought up enough. He was in the top 2 of importance last year for the leafs D-men, and we can't let one of them go. Raymond is a good fill if we can't get Kadri back this season. He is a great winger, where most of his career in Van, but also a decent centre, in case someone goes down like Bozak did in the playoffs. I don't think we can get all 3 unless Raymond takes a BIG pay cut. I hope we can get both Kadri and Franson both, because it would be a hard decision as to which.
