We're so happy in Philly to play the Pens. We love beating up on "The NHL's Biggest Whiner" (as voted by his fellow NHL players 3 years in a row). haha. We're going to ruin your season again! in 3 or 4 years, you guys will miss the playoffs and your fair weather fans will abandon you guys again and you'll go bankrupt for the 3rd time in your history and have to get bailed out again. haha
just came back to see if anyone responded to my complimentary comments about Pens fans. Apparently you guys are more depressed than I thought (people were downright meanies). I'd say some really bad stuff, but I know you guys are hurting big time. I'll stay off the site like I have been and good luck in the series.
I know I've left comments on here that were antagonistic because us Flyers fans hate the Pens, but after reading the last few articles on here, I respect you guys a lot. I expected to look at this site after that game and see everyone defending Neals headshots on our stars, and Asham, and the third man in every time Crosby started playing cheap, and Crosby's classless behavior, but I was wrong. The articles said that you guys don't like your team playing dirty. I've realized that I respect that because I know how much you guys love your team. Your team is still great, what the Pens need is a leader who stands up and shows leadership and class, not Crosby acting like nothing short of Sean Avery or Matthew Barnaby in his prime. I think Crosby has failed you guys more than defense or goaltending (with his on ice behavior). But, you guys are great, and could very well win 4 in a row and win this series. Hope the Flyers don't think they won anything yet.

Flyers alumni game: $300 a ticket....sell out crowd (46,000 people). Penguins alumni game for Winter Classic: disgraceful 8,000 fans in a giant football stadium. wow. Real sports town: Philadelphia.
Lets_Go_PENS Yeah. and we sold out (45,000 fans) and the tickets were 300 a piece! Penguins last year, barely had 9,000 people in that big ass stadium. Philly's a real hockey town.
not to rub it in but The FLYERS alumni game today was a 47,000 sell out crowd. The Penguins alumni game didn't even bring in 9,000 fans. Philly is the real hockeytown USA. The Flyers annual income has only been less than the Toronto Maple Leafs (biggest hockey market on earth) 3 years running. We also have more sell outs per year than any other American hockey team, even Detroit. Happy new year guys. And I do hope Sid is able to come back and be successful. We had Eric Lindros be destroyed by concussions a decade ago and it was a shame. Good luck Sid. Go Flyers.

look, the little fat kid in the above picture is doing his best Cindy Crysbaby impression. You wanna know why Talbot and Jagr chose Philly over Pittsburgh? They both said because "the hockey's better," but we all know that it prob has a lot to do with Philly being a world class city and Pittsburgh being a small, hick town. See ya next game Penguins. Your time in the hockey limelight is over. Watch Jan 2nd for the Classic in Philly this year.
Okay guys !!!!! All team loyalties aside, the Rinaldo hit was clean. Malkin tried to elbow a player in the head from behind. One is illegal, one is not. On a side note: in the minds of the rest of the league....1. Penguins fans have no right to cry foul about anything when they have Cooke, the most notorious cheap shot in the entire NHL and.......2. Sidney Crosby has been known (According to a Sports Illustrated article a few years back in a player poll) as the "NHL's Biggest Crybaby." I understand the anger at the loss to Philadelphia, but get some perspective people. Lets not prove the NHL right that Penguins and their fans are crybabies. It's okay to cry foul if there is something legit to cry about, but this is not. The Penguins were simply outhit and out played.
