Pink Eye swept through our house last year. It started with my 2yo, then moved into the nanny, followed by the 11yo and then DH. We got the drops for the boys immediately, and I did dribble some breastmilk into the toddler's eye to help. DH wouldn't let me put any breastmilk in his eye even though we already knew he was susceptible at that point. I, however, did put my milk into my own eye, and was the only one in the family not to get it. Silly menfolk :)

I couldn't justify the cost of an Ergo when my toddler was a newborn, and ended up buying a (much) less expensive knock-off brand. I loved that carrier and used it almost daily for months while he was little. However, once he was large enough to use a back carry, I began to realize what I had saved in $$ I was losing in comfort. His weight isn't distributed properly and the waistband digs into my hips horribly. What I'd give for a better carrier...

I'm more of a tea gal than a coffee gal only because coffee started causing havok in my gut in my mid-20's. I'll still drink it on occasion (and I still love it!), but rarely first thing in the morning and it has to be with a full meal.

I'm hoping my younger son will finally start speaking. He'll be two in January, and the screaching and lack of communication is hard on all of us.

I like taking the family driving around on Christmas Eve looking at the lights people have put up. I doubt we'll do it this year with an active toddler, but maybe when he gets a bit older.
