I mean let's be honest, most of the trash we get away with as SEOs should have been penalized years ago. The problem is SEO got easy, really easy. So easy in fact that it could be outsourced overseas and still work. The lazy part of me hates it, the purist says bring on the challenge.

Yeah well the problem is that Klout isn't targeted at you, me, or frankly anybody else tech savvy. It's a simplistic number that even a child can understand, that's the strength of it and they've marketed it extremely well. Companies would rather have an inaccurate yet simple metric, than a complex algorithm that's more accurate IMO. You'll care about Klout soon enough (better perks).
