Roughly 30 million will be added to each teams salary cap. So if the new deal was in effect this year we would see cap at $87,623,000 compared with the 58.679 million this year (that is with everything else static too). So we could see $100 million salary cap very soon.

"We’re looking at evaluating all of our options." - how many times has presti had to repeat this line over his years with the thunder and sonics? I swear people expect to gain something about his mind. Instead he is a robot when it comes to responses.

@f5alcon @Bezugha I prefer Stomp and Romp, but kicking does justice

@sidburgess @Jax Raging Bile Duct I was thinking Harden was Chewy, Presti is Yoda, and Kelly is Princess Leia
"Different, yes, but both extremely important to taking down the Empire. Durant’s a Jedi, Westbrook’s a swashbuckling mercenary." Is the empire the Heat, the Bulls, the East, the media, or everyone else?
@Jax Raging Bile Duct I have been using it for 30 min. The thunder never win the championship. They lose to the Pacers, Bulls, Heat, Magic, and Celtics. Really Accuscore and Hollinger The Thunder losing 50 + times to the celtics, pacers, and magic?

@tydude Look at the Hornet to possibly being moved to Seattle. The NBA still need someone to buy the hornets, but the NBA truly does not need a team in NOLA.

I forgot to add: Stein continues in a tweet "He will be playing in a D league game on Saturday to get his legs back"

Added Stein: "While the team was in Memphis Wednesday, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban met in Dallas with Odom and his agent, Jeff Schwartz, to work on a timetable that would ease Odom back after his weeklong personal leave, perhaps as soon as this weekend."
I do not know if this was state but O-shit I prefer the tv life than basketballing as a D-Leaguer is funny compared to last year or even two years ago. Is he the highest paid player ever to play a game in the NBDL?

Skip Bayless grew up during an era of Sooner perfection. Like my family and I, we want the Sooners to be perfect. Negative yard for the other team. No points scored on us. And the Sooners must score whenever they touch the ball. Yes I know this is perfection but it is something to strive for because the Sooners won for so long. Now, sadly, it is partially being seen with OSU on offense. So when the Okie state received The Oklahoma City Thunder, I feel that our transference of striving for perfection. No matter how unrealistic it is, we want them to do better. We want them, as fans, to play the perfect game. --- IMO

@f5alcon it is more fun to think about the funny named diseases out there. Plantar Fasciitis needs to have a name change. No more boring dead language names. We need more cool disease names like Gout, Mallet Toes, or Front Range Sickness.
Possible issues Thabo could have according to the statement on basketball reference (strained tendon in right foot.) Metatarsalgia, Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon injury, tendinitis, Mallet toes, or Claw toes. I am not saying it is any of these or it could be something else. I just wanted to write Mallet toes and Claw toes in a post.
Plus side to the first: No injuries, No air balled dunks, and Cousins is in foul trouble
@f5alcon only if we air ball a dunk
we are going to have to get them into foul trouble

@Old Man Game@courtsense I mean if you owned the network wouldn't your goal be to make the most money? And then what brings you the money is your clients. Thus you change your stories and create your stories based on your clients, viewers, readers, etc...
@Old Man Game@courtsense I do not think it is an outrage. I think it is the network trying to make the most money by pleasing the biggest markets. It is probably not the most ethical or moral thing to do but it is what brings in the most money. The NBA as seen from this lockout is trying to make the most money.
@courtsense@Old Man Game We are the smallest market, so they do not have to cater to our fans. *sigh* At least the Thunder takes care of most of the things on the court.
@OBoy@Lost Ones Yes, but he was taken by Jordan to defend earth from the Mon-Stars. They are just claiming it is actually a "Foot Injury." He will be back in time for the important game at the end of the season.
@f5alcon or is it career over? I am thinking Shaq here.
@klinger__@LPCes99@T-Fred @Fezzy Klinger I think that is when DVR or working the night shift comes in handy
@f5alcon I do not disagree, but tired legs, as royce pointed out in the pregame blog, can mean crazy things.

7 games in 10 nights. 2-1 starting off the 7 game stretch and I am happy, but I want perfection (lol... I guess that is the sooner fan in me.) I just hope we survive this stretch with no injuries.
@Pillendreher As a side note. I was reading all the fantasy reports about him. His height ranges from 6'4" to 6'7". I did not know one could grow or shrink at will.

Anyone know how many teams have won game game 4 in 5 nights?
Best part of the day so far was reading Cuban crying about losing Dirk to the Olympic trial and his team sucking eggs. He should remember the Olympics are a honor and a voluntary commitment. I guess he does not remember all the US "Elite" players backing out 8 years ago. Well time makes us forget.
