@Avigunner @Platinum It sounds like snug fit which is good. That's the way I like my cleats. Sme people prefer a bit more space though. It all depends on you. I like mine tighter, I feel like I can control the ball better that way.
@Avigunner @Platinum they're about the same. Both are heavy shoes that can last maybe half a season or a full season of rough heavy play.
1 week, 5 days ago on Nike Magista Tier Breakdown – We Tell You The Differences
@Avigunner Magista is better for control but the two shoes you're looking at are low-end, the difference won't really tell with either one. Just go for the better colorway or the cheaper one.
They absolutely didn't need to do stuff like this, the question I have is WHO is the guy authorizing these things?

@buymymonkey No way, I wouldn't want to back my way into that game. When we're good and ready, we'll take down the Pats, deflated balls or not.
@dmstorm22 Fair points.
On #2 of your 'Good', I don't know man. The comments made by Irsay after the game were scary. We need to be able to have a credible threat in the run game to keep good defences off balance like NE did to us but Irsay made it sound like he wanted us playing mainly the run like Seattle. We'll have to wait and see on that I guess.
On #4, we need to get rid of Landry, he's terrible. Also we can't count on Mike Adams (age) or Sergio Brown. We need numbers in the secondary too.
On the bad, I think Luck deserves to get paid and will get paid, the bright point is I think we've been profligate with money and drafting probably because we have had the leeway. With money being tighter, I'd hope that the front office would learn that there's virtually no room for error, they have to stockpile draft picks and draft WELL, and they can't toss huge money at crap free agent either.

@Questions Authority @Platinum I don't think it's old fashioned to think how you do nor do I have a problem with what they did. When they were 'running up the score' in 07, I was fine with it. It's neither here nor there as far as I'm concerned.
Yes it may be unsportsmanlike and I wouldn't have my team do it BUT people are different and handle things differently. I've learned to respect that for what it is. It's not like they were stomping on our legs Ndamukong Suh style. I understand that not everyone likes how Belichick goes about things and many wish the Pats get stomped for that. He's a GREAT coach though and that come-uppance people wait for....it doesn't come.
2 months, 1 week ago on Conversation @ http://coltsauthority.com/2014-articles/colts-flatlined-in-the-afc-championship-45-7.html
GREAT read. Nobody online frames the perspective as correctly as you do regarding the Colts. hammer right on the nail, arrow on target, excellent piece.
The question now is...what do we do when we face them next year? I'm sick of getting throttled by the Pats. It's like fighting a much bigger brother, can we get that growth spurt where we can suddenly punch back?
Good summary. Thanks for having the stones to sit through that ordeal.
@Questions Authority I understand the sentiment but I disagree with it. We deserved to get pounded for sucking that bad. It's not like we didn't know what was coming. We couldn't man up and stop it, it's not their problem. It's ours. For three seasons we've been unable to stop it. Lets not come here talking about how classless they were. Lets worry about how we can learn to punch back, that's what I'm interested in.
@Bobman1 @dmstorm22 @Nate Dunlevy @Platinum Adalius Thomas went to New England where Bill Belichick took his soul.

@dmstorm22 I don't know man...I'll have to go back and watch that '06 game but I vaguely recall an astounding Baltimore defense that was taken apart by Indy. We did everything but put up 6's in that game if I remember correctly.
When you hear Ray Lewis speak of that game, it buttresses the feeling that it was going to take something special to beat Baltimore in Baltimore that day and Indy had it. That onr throw he had to Dallas Clark...goodness gracious.
I was very happy to see Peyton get stomped last night. The only things that would have made me happier would have been (1) the offense getting to 30pts (I think the next step Luck and those guys will take will be not leaving points on the table against anyone) and (2) Vontae getting a pick off Peyton.
Peyton will be back I hope. The guy when healthy is among the top 5 QB's in this league and when he faces any of the other 30 I root for him. It's sad to read these tales of his demise and hearing the crowd boo him like they're used to better. Even worse is hearing some Broncos fans wishing for Tebow...I hope with all my might that if Peyton does retire, they get a Tebow.
Excellent as always Nate.
@gaiter27 The Colts ARE a playoff team. I think your point is we're not a SB contender which would be true but make no mistake, this team is among the best in the AFC, the problem is we're not quite good enough for the top 2 teams.

@dmstorm22 @Platinum @AJ_ I agree on the others being better suited but it won't help us since no byes for us and I'm pretty sure the 1 and 2 seeds locked up between those two. No avoiding the inevitable.
I just hope whenever next we tango, we just live and die with #12 and quit any pretense of being able to get into a game with them any other way. Go in with all guns blazing and don't stop passing till 60mins are up.
4 months, 1 week ago on Conversation @ http://coltsauthority.com/2014-articles/eyes-in-the-backfield-patriots-42-colts-20.html
@AJ_ Usually you'd hope someone would do us a favor by going into Denver or Foxborough and taking them out but I just don't see it happening. From the way it looks, these Colts will have to play one of those two behemoths. We'll have to wait till next season and hope we have some kind of secondary and linebacking corps at that point. Oh and maybe a half decent RB to join Ahmad Bradshaw.
Hope the defense puts a proper licking on Eli. Something along the lines of what Andrew Luck had to deal with against Pittsburgh would work very nicely please.
4 months, 4 weeks ago on Conversation @ http://coltsauthority.com/2014-articles/i-believe-that-we-will-win-colts-at-giants.html
@TrueBlue87 @Platinum @MarcusDugan @zgs1288 Can't keep using that youth excuse. With most RB's, you can tell right off the bat what you've got. There's no fountain of youth waiting down the road unfortunately. As long as he's a Colt, i'll wish for the best from him but literally every competition he's had at the position in Indy has been markedly better than him.
6 months, 3 weeks ago on Conversation @ http://coltsauthority.com/2014-articles/colts-24-broncos-31-the-comeback-that-wasnt.html
@MarcusDugan @zgs1288 Richardson looked better but still gotta say the difference between him and Bradshaw was crystal clear. I can't see TRich lasting past this season in Indy if he doesn't develop some decent speed this year.
In other words, I think he's toast.
*best wishes to him.
@Stig4 You can't go thorugh selling a LOT of players and expecting success, there has to be some continuity, they need to get rid of as few players as possible.
Anderson is gone, sell Nani, Vidic is gone, I'd keep most of the rest. Those guys won Fergie trophy after trophy, they're not terrible players.

@MarcusDugan When they have sessions midweek, don't the coaches watch the guys who're not starters? How is the YAC shown by Rogers a surprise? Or is it that what we have is a bunch of guys who are crap in training but turn up when the lights come on?
1 year, 3 months ago on Too Little, Too Late: Colts Fall to Bengals 42-28
@rogcohen @Platinum I need to calm down but losing so comprehensively smacks of something big.
Luck was getting killed last year, so protect him but don't take the ball out of his hand, he's the only chance you have of winning! He's getting beat up more this year and it's affecting his play so where exactly have we gotten better?
We're 23rd in rush attempts? Well we've been behind like 500 pts in the each of last 4 games, no surprise there...
1 year, 4 months ago on WEEK 12 REPORT CARD: COLTS AT CARDINALS
@rogcohen @Platinum I don't know the exact numbers but seems like the guy's getting smacked more this year...I'd be inaccurate and skittish too if my bloody O-line was a sieve.
It's a disservice to the kid...can he release the ball quicker and make better decisions? Damn right. But when you're throwing to WRs who can't get open for $hit, you're bound to hold on a bit longer.
The coaches are paid boku bucks to do something. Pagano needs to roll his damn sleeves up and put the big boy pants on, man up and admit, "I made a stupid error thinking I could take it 'old school', from here on out, i'l build on what Arians started and go from there."
You talk all this talk of running the ball yet everything about the run game says BUST....from that dancing bear TRich being outshone by DBrown and Herron to not being able to run in 3rd and 1 situations...If this highly acclaimed philosophy isnt working then what's left???
Luck has issues but the issues he has are a function of the situation he's been put in. This is annoying to the point of distraction.
Jim IRSAY, I know it's your money and your ball club but if you guys fuck this up because you think star wars numbers were what led to less rings with 18, or whatever, be rest assured, Indy will NOT forgive you. And don't tell me we're 7-4, that's horseshit, we're a flawed 7-4. KC was 9-0, doesnt mean they were not a dogdoo club.
Pah i'm mad.
The Cards put up 40 and still had a blocked FG LOL...Indy is a joke right now. The team is unprepared week after week...Subpar talent getting shown up by superior teams but the coaching isn't helping any...
As far as the talent level goes, you (i.e. Irsay, Grigson, etc) can't keep mortgaging the team's future on average guys like Vontae and TRich because you're in a win-now mode, there are too many needs and holes to be that way.
Secondly, this flawed philosophy of run and stop the run will get this club in a hole, you've the best young QB in football, throw the fucking ball and build with that in mind. Give him a stud defense and ST but drop the indecent and stupid idea of running to show toughness or whatever that garbage is...it's patent B.S.
On the Havili score....don't you think that gives the opposing D coordinator something extra (and unnecessary) to worry about? Now they know that is a weapon that isn't just there sitting, they know it can bite.

This should be fun.
I'm not sure Irsay's comments were an indictment of Peyton though...and he clarified that, why the continued punching of the owner?
As far as the game goes, we can't get into a Dallas-like shootout with them, we don't have enough bullets in our chamber BUT I can see a game where last one with the ball wins... Jacksonville did some interesting things despite getting blown out, maybe we can build on that...Love Peyton and support him every week but I'm on the Luck train 100%, #12 WILL stand up and fight, lets hope the coaches let him.

I don't share the enthusiasm about the 9ers game....maybe if they hadn't just taken one big stiffy up the rear....but they did and they'll be looking to do similar to the next opponent i.e the Colts.
