Kris Letang's seven-and-a-half-minute shift. WOW. Sure, there was the Kunitz Kick timeout for a breather, and three seconds off for a face-off, but he was on the ice from 9:20 to 16:51 in the third. Guess that off-season cardio pays off!
This game is good for the HCDB Video Collection. Just title it "The Do's and Dont's of Playing the Flyers."
I watched the replay of the Miller save on Neal in the third and I got a huge kick out of the reactions of Sid, Geno and Neal. Tie game, late in the third, perfect play, got stoned by the goalie -- and all three guys skated off with big smiles.
