Huge Steelers, Penguins, Pirates (ugh) and WVU fan. Im in college, im poor, but I love my life.
Guys, we play the Panthers on Friday. This was not a playoff game. People are having a freaking meltdown about this. No one cared about Vokoun being in net until he gave up the 6th goal. I understand the logic of going with the hot hand in MAF, but Bylsma decided otherwise to give Flower some rest. He doesn't want Fleury to give up 8 goals vs. Philly in the Spring like last year, that is why Vokoun is here.
If we know anything, games don't come down to one play. Adams took a penalty where he did basically nothing and Philly scored. On the retarded scramble goal in front of the net, Knuble was basically holding Vokoun down and dry humping him outside of the crease. Despite all the crappy calls and insanity, the Pens were a goal away. Not 8-3 or whatever happened last year that I am still trying to forget.
So before we all start trying to fire Bylsma via Twitter, remember this: When the Pens fired Therrien, they were 10th in the East. Not one point out of 1st. Keep Calm and Philly Sucks Balls.

@Darth Mutski I guess it is for people like me that live in Alabama. We never get any of the Pens promotional shit because it is limited to locals. Nice that the Pensblog guys are recognizing out of market fans.

I was so happy when that no-goal got called when Tavares was in the crease. He was pissing me off all night with his random seizure-like head movements that kept getting his team power plays.
SusieMorrow Presidentjlh I am the charter member. It started in 2008 playoffs (I got people that had no idea about hockey to love it) and we watched every playoff game in 2009, 2010 together as well. I met my girlfriend through our group. Its been amazing.
Presidentjlh Yeah i'm orginally Pittsburgh area and I moved here in 2001. It sucks but I get back to a few games a year.
