Good call, beat the NBC feed for sure. If only I could sync the ahead-of-TV radio back to watch the live game broadcast, I wouldn't be listening to goal calls while watching the puck cross center red.

When the net is accidentally displaced by an attacking player, and the defending side is in possession of the puck and moving out of their zone, play shall be permitted to continue until such time as the nonoffending team loses possession of the puck. The resulting face-off will take place at a face-off spot in the zone nearest the location where the play was stopped, unless it is in the non-offending team’s defending zone, and as such the ensuing face-off would be outside the blue line at one of the face-off spots in the neutral zone. It is possible for a goal to be scored at one end of the rink while the net at the other end has been dislodged, provided that the team being scored upon is the team responsible for dislodging the net at the other end of the rink.

Anyone catch the mistake by the hockey night in canada guys during the second intermission? Live stat as Cooke having two 14-goal games in his career. I'm PRETTY sure he meant 14 two-goal games, but I haven't really done much research... Someone could have scored 14 in one of the Flyers games last playoffs (seems like it at least) and I would have been too busy beating my head against a wall to notice.
I hope someone archives that shot for future use hahah.

I think what Tim does is bridge the gap between what you had just mentioned. He talks sports - is very insightful, and he talks Gawker. If I wanted to listen to just sports in the morning I'd listen to The Fan or something, if I wanted a circus I'd listen to The Freak Show. This is a nice blend of both.
I just find it bizarre that gun control is what put him over the edge. Clear Channel claims another personality.
