The Angels were tied in 1 and led in 2 of those 3 losses in the 9th. In what should have been AT least 2-1 series win it turned into a sweep that killed any chance of catching them.

@CurtisCienfuegos I want to preface this by being perfectly clear that I'm not comparing the two in any way other than runs scored. I coach 13-14 year-olds. I tell them before the season starts that our goal is to hold teams to 5 runs a game. We should be able to score that many every game. The games we lost, we gave up more than 5. The games we won, less than 5. Pitching and defense win and lose games at ANY level of baseball. That pitching staff Schosh was handed this year was the worst I've seen in a very, very long time.
@monkeywithahalo @JohnStacy Torii trying to fight Albert didn't happen this year. :)
Whomever decided on the pitchers acquired through trades and free agency is who will be held responsible. Last time I checked it wasn't Mike.
Bad chemistry in clubhouse, really? Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen a story of infighting in the clubhouse. Anything along those lines are pure conjecture. The problem with this season can be attributed to one thing and one thing only, pitching. It became Weaver and Wilson and pray for rain after Vargas got hurt. The bullpen has been abysmal. The Angels are 8th in the league in runs scored but 28th in pitching. Kinda hard to mismanage a bullpen when NOBODY is successful.
