@CoachLee_ @thunder_mike @nowthatsThunderBball haha okay just making sure. Usually when we lose in any way, this board loses it's mind. Welcome, be sure to come back when we win two games in a row. You probably won't even recognize the place.

@nowthatsThunderBball @CoachLee_ I can't tell if you're new, or if you're like REALLY trolling the crap out of DT by asking questions that have already been answered at nauseum for the last two years...
So apparently the NBA is like college football again. 3 game losing streak = franchise ender. Great logic. People need to relax.
I preface this by saying that I really only want Granger or Butler to keep them from other teams, but I think we're actually fine as a team. Just picked a bad two games to re-integrate Russell.
With respect to attracting free agents, I don't think it's about OKC hoes vs Miami hoes (or buildings, clubs, bars, etc). These guys go wherever they want in the offseason. But I do think that it's probably harder for them to blend around OKC as opposed to LA or Miami. Multi-Millionaire is a relatively small club in OKC, professional athlete is even smaller.
That said, winning cures all. San Antonio never landed a big free agent, but their stars also don't have personality or brand that KD and Westbrook do. Hoping we can land someone just to piss of the large markets.

@L0rv @King of Carrot Flowers the third I'm pretty confident that he would be Durant's backup and get probably 10-12 minutes a game.
@King of Carrot Flowers the third I think you're overvaluing Lamb and Jones. Granger would most likely play over both of them by the end of the season.
@rednuht @thunder_mike I just made a statement earlier that Lebron is crowning himself way to early. Someone made the statement that championships don't matter. I'm countering that they do.

Season awards are (somewhat) outside of your control. Health is to an extent outside of your control. Lebron James will always have a team specifically built around him. If we take championships out of the equation, then by what metric do we judge Lebron James? How big his muscles are and how high he jumps? If that's the case, then I say that Vince Carter is the greatest of all time. He jumps as high as Lebron with way less muscles, he was just on bad teams and had bad luck with his health. Mount Rushmore.
@ Luke You mean the team with the best record in the NBA the last two years he was there? Ya good thing there's no evidence of Lebron totally sucking it up in the most pivotal games. If you want to argue that he gave up because his team wasn't good enough, then he doesn't deserve to be on mount Rushmore.
@thelaughingwiseman @ Luke Luke Longley, BJ Armstrong, Tony Kukoc, Horace Grant, Ron Harper, Bill Wennington. All became instant nobodies as soon as Jordan left.
@blackhiiippy @Tvaddic 2) Harden was gone the day before the season started. 3) Perk was his starting center 4) Thabeet was Perk's backup
@ Luke @thunder_mike In a vacuum yes. But think about what they had to do compared to him. Jordan, Bird, and Magic all became superstars by destroying and creating dynasties. Lebron's two titles came against an inexperienced Thunder and a Spurs team 5 years past their prime. Lebron could beat Bird and Magic in a game of HORSE, but his legacy isn't as good yet.
Everytime I hear one of these lebron quotes, I keep thinking that someone's retweeting an article from the Onion. Is this moron for real? You have 2 rings bro. There are role players with more rings than you. You had to wait for Kobe's body to die before you could win crap. You're a great individual talent, but please stop acting like you did it better than Jordan, Bird, or Magic.
@ Luke @thunder_mike @Jooseppi @Mr. OBoy Bit of an overstatement to call someone elite at something when no one guards him

@Old Man Game @thunder_mike Okay I'd revise my statement to say he wouldn't be starting in the league without Lebron Wade and Bosh on the team.
@Jooseppi @Mr. OBoy @thunder_mike How many PG's come into the league who give effort on defense and are solid from 3. If he didn't get half of his assists throwing the ball into the sky for Lebron and getting to hit 3's as the 5th option on the floor, is there another starting point guard he could really ball against?
Chalmers would probably be fighting for a roster spot in the NBA if he wasn't playing for the Heat. I can't think of one point guard skill he has except hitting 3's.
PJ's eyes were moving, blocking foul...

Silly Scotty... Lebron is immune to traveling calls
All the Heat fans that are on their way to the game now are just turning around to go home
