Raised in Wagoner, OK. Working on a grad degree at UCLA.
Serge guarded Parsons for two possessions at the end of the half. Parsons got two open 3s and canned one. Brooks immediately subbed in Fisher. I was very relieved.

@El Prez Yep, Brooks said earlier PJIII starts at 2 and will guard Harden.

@criznazy53 I've seen Royce be plenty negative.

@GlendaGonzales More confident that Montiejunas will hit 6 3s on half-ass closeouts after his man leaves him to triple team Greg Smith dribble drives.
@MJOKC My favorite play is a Lamb made shot, but dang, that dude cannot finish inside of 5 feet.

@kevindurant35 @tygablood Pretty sure it was Fish/Jackson combo that got dumped on in those games. PJIII was on the bench during the 34-5 run at LA.

@TempBoy Brandon It's been a while since we have. Makes me sad is all.

@cemitten I understand help defense, but there is no sense in leaving multiple decent shooters wide open in order to collapse on a Kendall Marshall or Patrick Beverly dribble drive.
Stay home and trust your teammates.

@AlexR44 @AIaska Portlandia is amazing. If you love Fred, I recommend watching the show. It basically spends 30 minutes showcasing his chameleonness.

@ThunderYo @nomad @Tvaddic Agreed, I think Russ is a big problem defensively. I love him, but he hasn't been good on that end.

@King of Carrot Flowers the third good point. Guess it's not fair to isolate the problem from the wider context.
@Tvaddic I'll accept it. I'm honestly just curious for the different angles people have for looking at this problem.
Question about the Perk talk (not stating one way or the other, just curious for anyone's input):
In the games that he played, our defense wasn't this bad when he was off the court. His on/off defensive rating is about the same. Why should the current D be drastically worse just because of his absence? In reality, some games he was only on the court for a cumulative quarter? Is this an aberration that we are seeing or does his presence make that big of a difference? Is he yelling rotations from the bench for the 2/3rds of the game that he is off the court?
@d21 @nomad @Tvaddic shut up, trying to soothe my wounds here.
@Tvaddic Got to love how Miami has lost 3 straight.
@MJOKC Don't get it or the Lamb hate, really. Dude played 13 minutes and took 5 shots. Ball wasn't moving. Besides that, it's the FUCKING defense that is doing us in.

@MostJadedGamer I would argue Russ' defense has hurt us more than Jackson. Russ is a bigger net positive, but he's been killing us for stretches defensively, especially in transition. He often fails to get back and when he does he fails to pick someone up.

Hope for a miss defense.

I just don't understand what it will take to defend the perimeter.
@d21 No passes, no movement. Any motion is useless and pointless.
