@Durants Shimmy I also remember how unstoppable Harden was in the close out game. He owned the entire 4th quarter. They tried everyone on him except Dirk. It was beautiful.

@okcjim @d21 I think he's more upset by the depleting depth of this draft. Even if we didn't draft Lavert, his absence affects the value of our pick.

I'm somewhat hesitant on Kanter like some of you, but dang, we could probably outscore any team most nights with a trifecta of Russ, KD, Kanter on the court together. Would be a lot of fun to watch.

Just based on DX, Oubre seems like a total Presti pick. Long, very promising defender, incredible physical tools. Thankfully, he has at least a little offensive potential.

@Webster81 What I've noticed about the Thunder is they don't care if a decent 3 point shooter gets wide open look after wide open look. I'd rather we force guys to make contested 12 footers then give up wide open 3s. Granted, we don't have our best defenders, but our strategy makes it worse. It's some high school level ish.

I'm sorry, but this roster isn't THIS bad. I've been giving Scotty a pass, but good lord we're getting worse every game. Zero adjustments. The teams we play actually make adjustments against us even though they're beating us and we keep beating our heads against the wall doing the same thing and expecting different results.

I realize we are missing our best defensive players, but the guys we do have are getting worse on that end. Despite it supposedly being a point of emphasis.

Also, having KD call him out on it is exactly what Simmons wants. He's probably masturbating to the thought of it right now. Wish KD would stop doing stuff like this.

You know, I hate the Harden trade, but Simmons' comments about it are extremely hypocritical and tiresome. Especially when he says things like "OKC underrated Harden's impact." On that topic, he conveniently neglects to mention that he himself had Harden rated in the 30s as a valuable trade piece in the summer of the trade.

The Perk talk really has to stop. That's so dumb. If Perk is out there with these line ups, they fare fractionally better defensively, bet the net result is far far far worse. Kanter was our best offensive weapon last night, with Perk we lose that game 95-72.
