And how much was the "Rent a Fish" contract. Great pickup.

Great, ESPN again. All they do is drive me nuts, and block my view on the court. Every Sports Phans Nightmare.

@anonymous12345  What kind of comment is that designed to inspire? It looks pretty antagonistic for no apparent reason to me

It sure is weird how memory works. I really thought we beat Miami and Orlando back to back on the road a couple of years ago.

@Lost Ones Well, I may not be mad - but I sure admire their game, and game outcomes. But our outcomes ain't that shabby guys.

@Steve H Without Russ it may be him or Ivey , or Harden in there some. I hope Russ is okay even without worrying about losing a stupid game. ... Luck Russ.

@supreethm92 ANd I think Ivey filled a little gap there for a bit too. Reddick was starting something for a minute, and ther were some well-timed threes there

@ATH  I know, except for his anti-Thunder campaign which he just won't ever let up on he's been a favourite of mine. But one of his main themes is we can't win it all because we this or that. Good grief, Miami didn't win it all last year and we are essentially tied this year. I know we're no Miami but his criticism is we MIGHT do what they DID do so we deserve all that junk somehow? If Thunder would just cooperate and fade back into the pack he could quit it all and go back to talking about more interesting stuff than how we can't do what we keep doing.

@anonymous12345 C Webb must have gotten himself run off for openly admiring the Thunder> I always think he's the best, what's with Shaq anyway? I mean instead of CWebb, give me a break.

because the Sixers simply don’t have a good team to control the glass with, especially against the athletic riot the Thunder employ

OBoy I was kind of impressed with Ivey in that game too., I was aleady starting to like Jackson. I have been joking about Ivey a lot - his jersey number is always his cumulative points from the previous season - stuff like that. I guess next year he gets a 2-digit number huh?

BlazingDeath Sucks when we do it, sucks when they do it. Fouls called that were just drawn by acting and fooling the refs should be reviewed after the game and stiff cash fines levied against the player with the team matching 50% or so and that money given to youth organizations or something cool like that.

" ... The Warriors had been playing well and as Mark Jackson talked about before the game, had finally started to feel like they were good. They approached this game as a setting-the-bar type of night, something to measure themselves ... "

That type of attention from opponents reminds me of how our team used to do a little more, heck, make that a whale of a lot more against marquee teams in our building phase. Our fans were really coming to see the guest team, etc.. Now then Thunder are that sort of thing for some of those struggling teams and it is totally to be expected that the other teams (made up of professional players one and all) would have someone get up and have season or career game in that setting. Just like it was for our Thunder in their dark days.

Everyone loves a parade. We keep toggling from Best in the West to Just the Best. But some doofus on ESPN has an OPINION based power ranking putting us behind Atlanta and Indiana and God knows whoall. Everyone from Sir Charles on agrees we won't actually be worthy of attention like the big guys. Turnovers - thats the thing now. Now that Harden didn't perform as a "second coming of Magic" starter, Thabo isn't seen as quite so bad, Cole really does seem to need some ramp up time. Did I miss anything in the list of why every third guy down here would make a better coach for us?

So last night we go back to turnovers. We mad e 19 stinking turnovers - you can win a game but not really go anywhere like that right? Start the band up here comes the parade. Well the 19 TOs led to 20 pts and they made only 18 TOs - thats how you win. Of course we made 23 off their TOs but anyway it will be the death of us all - those durty bastids. Wish we could cut that extra TO down, maybe win some games for a change.

I wish pride would kick in somewhere for some of these guys. Deception is still a dirty low dishonorable trait. That flop where Parker started flailing his arms around and contorting his head to mimic as if he had been bopped. then dives to the ground should be run more. The perfect example of scumbag athletics. Nothing remotely accaptable or cool.

"Look son, see that man? I want you, son, to have character and pride, to be honest , I want that for you in life, and sports. That, son, is the perfect example of what real men don't do."
