@Legendary_Dork I thought he wasn't guaranteed next year?

@Messire Dirty is relative. He's not Hansbrough. He's an instigator, in the mold of Blake Griffin.

@N0tres @King of Carrot Flowers the third Accusations have been out there for a while

@N0tres I'm all for it if you can convince Denver (or anyone for that matter) to take Perk.

@AIaska @King of Carrot Flowers the third I don't really like the meltdowns. Nothing compared to the CFB one that Alabama's scout site puts out.

@N0tres @anonymous12345 The problem is comparing teams in different CBA's is difficult. The tax is so much harsher than it was before. If you look at the teams now that are over, only the Clippers are legit title contenders

@N0tres 2014 Spurs?

I wonder what the Raptors would be named if Jurassic Park never came out

@Chandler Bing. @Tonitrus Probably Adams for getting Swaggy P kicked out right as he started heating up
21 hours, 29 minutes ago on Saturday Morning Cartoons: Merry Thunder
@King of Carrot Flowers the third No problem. Those ESPN the magazines go straight to my trash can, just so that I can share insider articles with DT.
@N0tres @anonymous12345 @BangBangThunder Yes...I know, its weird.

@BangBangThunder At least next year they replace Amare with Jahlil Okafur

@N0tres @anonymous12345 @AIaska I'd pass. If we're giving up the Brookies, Its gotta better than a half season rental on Brandon Bass.

@N0tres @AIaska Whose minutes is he taking? Collison?

@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] For teams in the Western Conference playoff race, objects in the rearview mirror may be larger than they appear. That team coming up behind? It's the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Despite seeing their seven-game winning streak come to an end Thursday night at the hands of the West-leading Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena, the Thunder are still 8-2 since Russell Westbrook returned to the lineup on Nov. 28 and just 1½ games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
As a result, it's probably too late to talk about whether Oklahoma City's injuries will cause the team to miss the postseason. Barring another catastrophic series of maladies -- the "mild" sprained ankle Durant suffered Thursday doesn't qualify -- the Thunder will make the playoffs. Now the question has become: how many other teams Oklahoma City might pass between now and April.
Before last night, Oklahoma City's lone loss since Durant returned came in his first game back, at New Orleans, on Dec. 2. It then reeled off a seven-game winning streak, one shy of its longest of 2013-14. With both Westbrook and Durant, Oklahoma City has outscored opponents by 8.7 points per game, best in the West in that span. The Thunder have enjoyed a relatively favorable schedule, but even after accounting for that, only Golden State has played better among the teams ahead of Oklahoma City in the standings.
The Thunder have been winning primarily with defense. Before a shootout with the Warriors, Oklahoma City's 95.7 defensive rating with both Westbrook and Durant in the lineup ranked second in the NBA during that stretch, trailing the Atlanta Hawks. The defense carried an offense that wasn't entirely clicking, with Durant struggling relative to his high standards before going off in the first half at Oakland. If Oklahoma City can get the MVP-level Durant at the same time as Westbrook is playing at an MVP level, look out.
The Thunder are already close to catching the teams that were battling for the eighth spot in the West. As of Thanksgiving, the day before Westbrook's return from hand surgery, Oklahoma City was five games back of the Phoenix Suns for eighth. Now the gap between those teams is a half-game. The Thunder have passed the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings, and also have the New Orleans Pelicans (1½ games up) in their sights.
Because all of the West's top teams continue winning, the Thunder haven't made up as much ground. Still, they have gained a full two games on the San Antonio Spurs to move within five of the defending champs.
How high can Oklahoma City climb?
Playoff projections like ESPN's Hollinger Playoff Odds that don't know Durant and Westbrook were injured still underrate the Thunder's chances of reaching the postseason. (The Hollinger Odds have them making the playoffs as about a 50-50 proposition.)
To adjust for that, I had Zachary Bradshaw of ESPN Stats & Info run 10,000 simulations of the remainder of the season using a version of ratings that combine preseason expectations and performance to date -- for everyone except Oklahoma City, which was rated only by preseason expectations. (It rates as the league's third-best team by this measure.)
These projections don't quite show the Thunder (which average 49 wins) as a sure thing for the playoffs, but do give them a better chance of winning the Northwest Division and earning a top-four seed (11.9 percent) than of ending up in the lottery (11.4). And more often than not, Oklahoma City jumps at least one West playoff team.

@AIaska @anonymous12345 Me neither. I was looking for the 5 day forecast.
23 hours, 39 minutes ago on Down KD, Thunder bounce back in LA, 104-103
@AIaska @anonymous12345 Welcome!
@AIaska Remember that month a few years ago when Jeremy Lin was a thing
23 hours, 40 minutes ago on Down KD, Thunder bounce back in LA, 104-103
Once Roberson gets his 3 point shooting percentage into the mid 20's, lookout

@Perk has a lot of value @anonymous12345 True enough. I just don't see him trading Reggie before the playoffs...unless Fish gets fired in NY.

We're not trading Reggie, the same way we didn't trade Thabo last year.
1 day, 21 hours ago on Friday Bolts – 12.19.14
@OKC035 Nobody wants Perk
@King of Carrot Flowers the third So whats the exact trade we're talking about?
@King of Carrot Flowers the third Reggie does that. I don't see the need for Crawford other than he's fun to watch that 1 game in 10 where he catches fire.
@gokudabest What does Crawford do that Morrow doesn't?
I really like the idea that there was a national security meeting where the topic of discussion was two of the stoners from Freaks and Geeks
@Thunder_Blue @anonymous12345 @Tvaddic The guy with the Mens Warehouse suits that sits on the bench. KD loves him.
2 days, 18 hours ago on Thursday Bolts – 12.18.14
@Tvaddic Now all we need is for Grant Jerrett to get verified on twitter
@King of Carrot Flowers the third Not anymore
@dollarbillrussell Monta's been starting at the 2 all year hasn't he?
Wonder what Ainge could have gotten for Rondo 2 years ago..

@JustCantQuitDT @King of Carrot Flowers the third To be fair, Russ kills everybody
@JustCantQuitDT Thats a pretty good haul for Rondo.
@L0rv @JustCantQuitDT I don't understand what his role would be on that team. Harden is their de facto PG.
Not a popular opinion, but I'm going to take some nyquil and be asleep by tip off.
2 days, 23 hours ago on Thursday Bolts – 12.18.14
lol...even the spurs were tired of this game, just wanted it to end
3 days, 13 hours ago on The Starters: How the Thunder first five has become a menacing lineup
@f5alcon @King of Carrot Flowers the third Its pretty obvious the gov't stepped in and told them not to release it. Even if theaters were backing out, they could have sent it to bluray/vod, but they're not doing that either
And to think just last night I was wondering to myself if LP was worth it this year
@f5alcon @cemitten @anonymous12345 Eh, only Ginobli and Duncan are old and we already know that means nothing when they're on the court
@cemitten @anonymous12345 Memphis is on a back to back though
3 OTs is going to be too much for Memphis
@RUSSGOINFULLSANDWICH @dollarbillrussell Never mind just saw Harris is part of the trade. Harris, Aminu, and Wright isn't a bad haul for Rondo..especially if they get a pick as well
@RUSSGOINFULLSANDWICH @dollarbillrussell Is he better than Devin Harris defensively?
@dollarbillrussell @anonymous12345 @Wizard of Westbrook MVP Faction @Chandler Bing. Never underestimate Dolan...although Phil is there now, so probably not.
@dollarbillrussell @anonymous12345 @Wizard of Westbrook MVP Faction @Chandler Bing. Maybe New Orleans could try to get rid of Eric Gordon's contract?
@dollarbillrussell @Wizard of Westbrook MVP Faction @Chandler Bing. I don't think there's anyone in the league that could realistically be traded for him.
@dollarbillrussell With HCA, they can beat us. Other than the Spurs, they're the only team that believes they can beat us.
@Daft_Drunk Damn, right after losing Parker
