Why did we not make a deadline deal? Is Zach Lee a thing?

At least he had an ERA, IE he got 2 outs. My favorite is when 8 runs score with no outs for the pitcher. Infinity

It's possible we lose today by 15 runs or more.
Another o'fer with the sacks full...LOL
2 weeks, 2 days ago on Another Reason To Not Worry About Dodgers Bases Loaded Troubles
@KMT59 @adicom I don't complain either. I just want the Dodgers to win it all before I either die or become to infirm to be at one of the WS games
I said friend
@Crushinator (Bender lover) @adicom You can quote me on that.
Will do my Goat friend.
Hi Mike I was referring to the 65 year drought from 1890 to 1955, and the fact the we have not won in 25 years, so we have 40 years to go to match the longest futility in our history. Of course as "the Goat" will confirm we are not The Cubbies....
@Disgruntled Goat @DodgersFan @adicom What?
@DodgersFan @adicom Not complaining just stating a fact. I want the Dodgers to win it all. From what 1890 to 1955 they did not win. I just do not want to wait another 40 years...
Sorry, but when you are 55 you will complain too. It's just the nature of the beast. Anyway 44% Sac Fly rate lowest in baseball, hmmm....That is of interest. As we say, small sample size....But to win it all it takes is what 11 wins in October-November. A very small sample size, yet it happens every year, well except 1994. Some luck (BABIP), some randomness, some decent "do no harm" managing and just maybe a productive winning out........ And may be a WS Flag, just MAYBE.
It's more about how horrible Mattingly is at almost everything. Also, OPS is not everything with the bases loaded and less then 2 outs. I know outs are bad, but an out that wins a game is the only good out, and it seems like we are horrible at the "winning out". Frustration on my part, but I am old 55 years old. I want to win a WS before I am unable to climb the 1,000,000 rows of the nosebleed section to actually be at a WS game. UGG
There is only one Bud Norris in real life......But in the list he is mentioned twice.
11 months, 4 weeks ago on Yet Another Reason Why Juan Uribe Is Amazing
I laughed out loud at Uribe having a higher WAR then the "Stros" O my.
@Capnsparrow @adicom @Mike Petriello @DBrim Not really. The odds after giving up an out there say is was a bad move no matter what. We can go into Uribe being better then Puig over the past month, or 4 HR's in the last 7 games. Even if it worked the process was bad. Besides who was available to hit? Not much other then Kemp. Mattingly just does what he is "supposed" to do by the 1970 MLB mangers guide......
1 year ago on D’Backs 2, Dodgers 1: Bunted to Death
@Mike Petriello @adicom @DBrim True. I am frustrated by the last two weeks. I guess because I am old, and missed going to the last WS, I just want to win. I should not panic. But as a Dodger talk caller asked the other day, "Can Mattingly mange us to a championship" He can certainly do a lot to lose one, that is for sure. Of course the players have to perform for us to win, but bunting in that situation is not a smart managerial move.
@DBrim There will be for The Dodgers if Matt Kemp is stale, Ethier, Crawford, and Hanley are hurt, and we OVERUSE Paco, Belly (a quote from Mattingly) and the rest of our bullpen.
That's why you don't bunt in that situation. Horrible decision. Practicing losing as we are, injuries or not, is a bad way to enter October.
Beating the "Puffued Up Chowds" is a good thing.

Amazing man. My 25 year old son and I have shared in the joy of Vin for his whole life. I started listening in 1966 (at age 7), so Vin and I go back 47 years. I remember Vin telling a story (one of a million great stories of his) about Willy Mays and Don Drysdale. Willie comes up to the plate, starts digging a hole in the box to plant his back foot. So he is digging away, says Scully, then he looks up and sees Drysdale on the mound, waiting, glaring at him. Willie backs out and sheepishly covers the hole and climbs back in the box.....First pitch was at Willie to knock him down.......Vin told that story while broadcasting the last game of a horrible Dodger season. The Boys In Blue were playing San Francisco. I listed to every inning of that game just to hear the great Scully weave his tales of amazing Baseball history. One more, so vin tells the story of the Happy Birthday umpire song. He says to the crowd (everyone had portable radios to listen to Vin), hey it's the plate umpire's birthday, between innings lets all sing Happy Birthday to him. And sure enough the whole stadium did what Vin asked and sang Happy Birthday to the plate umpire. Vin, please stay as long as you can!
