I am happy there is some legal action you can take against a woman who is hell-bent on terrorizing women who have lost their babies. I am happy you have legal action you take against somebody who harasses women who want to give birth in peace. I am sorry I can't donate money to your legal action at this time, but way to go!
My son developed an arrhythmia at 34ish weeks. Other than going in for NST twice a week on top of my other appointments, and a detailed heart scan it was determined he was fine, and that sometimes arrhythmia's occur because a specific valve won't close properly until birth. They also grilled me about caffeine. My son is nearly 1.5 and hasn't had any issues with his heart. I'm sorry your client didn't have her home birth though. :(
I agree with you 100%. It is not our job to impose morality on women's reproductive rights. In order to do that though, we have to be willing to support and accept the choices across the board, whether it be a woman choosing to have as many children as she wants or women of all ages having access to contraception. I shudder to think that my daughter could be too scared to tell me she needs emergency contraception and then has to deal with the consequences of a pregnancy when she could have had access to the pill without telling me and would have taken it if that was an option. I shudder to think that the Government could impose a limit on how many children a woman chooses to have, or how many abortions, or what sort of birth control best fits our lifestyle.
