If I was in charge at Nintendo I'd drop the basic model, come out with a white deluxe model and drop the price down to 299.99. Then go on a marketing blitzkrieg immediately after E3 ends that lasts through Christmas.
Now is the perfect time to push the console. The Xbox One is getting shredded and its been 3 months since the PS4 reveal.
@matthewwesley85 @routerbad @Zorpix_Fang Hoping for a huge new IP. Metroid would be great but really want to see what they are capable of doing with a new IP.
Hype train will be leaving the station soon.
Not sure if serious. Would I rather prevent a layup and give up an open 3 to Bosh? Let me think.
Someone can at least run at Bosh.
Or
you do like I said, shade over the top of Lebron and try to force the
pass to someone else or force him to come out higher and get the ball.
@LonDonE @HR_TX Big Brother is watching you.
This is what George Orwell warned us about in 1984.
I don't think Microsoft does very well outside the US as it is which is probably a big reason why their console seems to be very American-targeted.
Very, very smart by Nintendo. Even if he doesn't speak for all of Nintendo, its still a very smart move.
The voice controls are cool but I can already imagine the drunken mayhem that will occur with that.
Some of the news released after the announcement is what I'd be most concerned about:
-Kinect has to be on for the console to work
-Used game fee...maybe...yes....no....maybe....they really need to get it figured out
-A kind of always on system: need to get online once every 24 hours
-Needs an accessory to be able to use the live TV function
Other than voice controls and skype there isn't much it does over the Wii U. I'd assume voice controls could be added to the Wii U at a later date, the gamepad does have a mic as do the Wii-motes.
@Lost Ones @yarkmu opening up the lane for the best player on the planet because you are afraid of Bosh hitting a 3 or long 2 is ridiculous.
Should have had the inbounds guy playing to take away the pass to Lebron. Back up, turn sideways and shade over the top.
@TrueChamp @The Anti Perk its code for drug overdose while dropping a patrick beverly.
@Jooseppi @tbird26p Yeah because if you spend a lot of your rookie season down in Tulsa you definitely will be down there your second year too.
Signed,
Reggie Jackson
Trade into next year's draft would be the best option. It doesn't matter about getting the #1 pick the draft should be much deeper especially at PF and SF. Options at center next year are likely similar to this year(after Noel).
@long arm of the law @HR_TX And why would OKC make that deal? All anyone says is "Brooks won't player rookies" but trading for McLemore basically means putting a big chunk of the bench scoring responsibility on a rookie and there is no proof that McLemore is or will be a better player than Lamb or Jones at this point other than he's the most recent flavor of the month.
@long arm of the law @HR_TX Orlando is rebuilding. Is McLemore anymore of a cornerstone than Lamb or Jones? None of those are proven and with that trade you are getting 4 young, cheap talented players to work with.
I don't see why Orlando would say no to this: OKC deals Lamb (and Jones, maybe), the No. 12 pick and the No. 29 pick to move up for McLemore....assuming Jones is included and even if he's not included they'd definitely have to think about it.
@okcjim in the past its been a big workout for players. A lot more scrimmaging than drills. Don't think they do any physical measurements.
@Fuzzy Logic I think part of the trolling is that there's a lot of talk, the main guy pushing it is Barkley, that Memphis is the team that can push Miami the most.
After watching this series, I think a healthy Miami team probably wins 4-0 or 4-1. Just don't see what all the fuss is about with Memphis. Very, very good team but Games 2 and 3 should have been 15 point wins for them. They are capitalizing on all the Thunder' mistakes right now but Miami isn't going to make those same mistakes.
I'd like to see them switch the big man matchups. Put Ibaka on Gasol and Perkins on Randolph.
