Excellent article, Ariel. Although I'd suggest to replace the GO Navigator for the Breguet Type XX, and change the Cartier Santos for the Tank... in general I can agree with the chosen models.
Congrats Ariel, 2500 posts is a LOT. I'm also amazed by the pace in which the Swiss embrace the web or how they deal with online journalists (or bloggers). Somehow I get the feeling that we've just seen a tip of the ice berg of what is to come in that perspective.
Congrats... and on to the next 2500 posts!
Ariel, please tell me you know how to recognize the difference between a mechanical and a quartz movement...
Interesting write-up Ariel, and I can fully relate to what you and the persons from the dealerships are saying. Once one knows more, respect for the craftsmanship and skills, grows. And usually the desire to acquire more interesting timepieces grows as well. The whole chain of communication from manufacturer, through media channels (like our blogs), to dealers is essential in this.
Great read, thanx!
Great overview on the SIHH, Ariel. I agree on my of your statements, except the new Cartier Tank Anglaise looked horrible. Personally I favor the new RO Jumbo over any other model AP launched this year, although the new RO Chronograph in steel also looks sweet!
Great review Ariel and a magnificent watch!
